Metcalf - 50 rec, 783 yards, 5 TD
A.J. Brown - 39 rec, 779 yards, 6 TD
McLaurin - 46 rec, 703 yards, 6 TD
AJ putting up those numbers on 39 freakin’ catches is crazy. Dude looks like a stud.
I just wanted an excuse to say he looks like a Tank again. Seriously. That slant where he dragged 3 defenders into the endzone was just absolute beast-mode, especially for a receiver.

DK stole all the muscle-highlights leading up to the draft... but holy cow, AJB looks HUGE out there. I'm already anticipating his 2nd season with much fervour...

Which makes Davis' lack of production even more maddening ... AJB & Davis should compliment each other's style so well.

I traded up to get him at the 1.10 this offseason and just recently traded him + 4th for Chark. Didn’t feel it was unfair at the time and think it could be viewed as a total loser of a trade in a few years.

Why would it make the community seem foolish, it was billed as a deep wr class but not top heavy which it was

Nope, stop right there my friend, I'm putting my foot down: If you wanna complain about Davis, go to the Corey Davis thread. I'm done hearing about him! He's not good, he's not a rookie, and he's not the Titans #1 WR. Sorryaboutit!

Even the top 3 Rbs have looked good (especially Jacobs). Makes me wonder if all this 2020 hype is gonna disappoint once the season starts, perhaps the community is too high on 2020 like we were obviously way too low on 2019. I mean for rookies these are very good- great seasons. You have to be happy with almost any WR you got in the first round except Campbell or Harry. (I think Harry will be ok though)
a lot of negativity on deebo and DK was poor injury history. AJB was situation (imagine if they gave him 10 looks a game like they should). ok, the community missed on Mclaurin but then so did the NFL and his own college team. 3/4 ain't bad.

It's actually kind of funny when you think about it, I feel like draft classes usually go the opposite of what is being anticipated.
...incoming 2020 crash and burn warning.

It sounded more to me like people were billing it as trash, not top heavy or deep, just trash, like 2016, or worse than 2016.

I feel like this 2020 class is already doomed because expectations are so high. If one of these top rookies doesnt hit 1000 yards and 8 Tds they will be looked at as a bust.(joke) And god forbid any of them take some time to develop. Thats the hole we have dug ourselves with this 2020 class.

Wasn't 2017 pretty hyped?

Indeed it was - and well, obviously McCaffrey was a stud. Fournette has been "okay" but largely disappointing.
Then you have the mess that became Davis, Williams, Ross, OJH, etc..
Given it is also still quite early but the trajectory does not bode well for a lot of those guys.

Glad I bought Paris ‘glass’ Campbell for basically what I could have payed for AJ, even though AJ was my favorite prospect in this class before the draft. I consistently make the landing spot over talent mistake.

Yeah but Mixon, Cook, Hunt, Kamara... I agree the WR were terrible
