Man im hoping this happens, i got him cheap in the preseason in a package, My matthew Stafford for Jakobi+++, 1 qb league. Im a pats fan and have heard all the buzz obviously. Want to see it full time in a real game though.
Yes it was the Jets, but he made two nice grabs and show nice YAC that he showed in the preseason. If you can route good routes, display good hands and remain mistake free, you'll get 8+ targets a game from Brady in the slot.

He's set up nicely, I may roll him out as my WR3 over Chark this week. (Chris Harris treatment?)

I do not hate the Jakobi call. I am quite happy he's sorta flashing already

2019 Rookie WR Yardage to date:

Metcalf - 595
McLaurin - 566
Marquise Brown - 477
Deebo Samuel - 474
Hardman - 450
AJ Brown - 446
Preston Williams - 428 (IR)
Slayton - 394
Diontae Johnson - 380
Renfrow - 365

Thats basically 10 WRs with a pace of at least 600 yards - which may not sound like much but thats basically 40 yards a game - and they are rookies. And apart from Metcalf & Hardman, none of them are playing with QBs that most owners respect. ;)

Olabisi Johnson - 225
Keesean Johnson - 187
Isabella - 180
Meyers - 179
Scott Miller - 143
Boykin - 131
Harmon - 128
Campbell - 115 (injured?)
Doss - 79
Sims - 51
JJAW - 43
Jason Moore - 43
Olszewski - 34
Harry - 18
Morgan - 18
Deonte Harris - 10

Just so people can keep track - although if you use MFL they track rookies. :)

Just so people understand this a little better

# of Rookie WRs that had 600+ yards:

2018 - 2
2017 - 3
2016 - 4
2015 - 4
2014 - 9
2013 - 4
2012 - 5

2019 - now that Preston Williams is on IR - has 9 on pace. Probably wont finish with 9 but could have the most of the last 7 years except for 2014.

Now let’s hope that Harry with his beautiful analytics profile steps it up here with some meaningful production!

I think you need to check your math, because the 2019 Draft was horrible and devoid of talent. You have to be wrong.

Awesome thread ya'll.

Who are guys that you see as priority buys this offseason, expecting their value to jump even higher as they make steps forward 2nd year?

That hype of a 2020 draft class rookie pick will cause the less savvy owners to look at some of their rookies who "only" had WR3 numbers and possibly sell.
Team 1- 10 team ppr, 1QB, 2RB, 3WR, 1TE, 2Flx, 1D, 1K
2022: 1-8
Finishes: 6th, 6th, 1st, 5th, 6th, 9th
QB: Lamar Jackson, Purdy
RB: Bijan, Dobbins, Achane, Charbonnet, Algier, McBride, waiver trash
WR: JSN, QJ, Addison, Dotson, Skyy Moore, Jameson Williams, Hyatt, T Dell, Boutte, Skowronek, Quez Watkins, Greg Dortch, waiver trash
TE: Hockenson, F Monroe, Juwan, Musgrave
D/K: Patriots, Vikings, Saints, Dicker

picks-
2024- 1,1,1,1,2,2,2,3,3,4,5,5
2025 1,1,1,2,3,4,5

team 2- 12 team SF, .5PPR, .5TE boost, 1QB, 1SF, 2 RB, 3WR, 1TE, 2Flex
2022: 8-1
Finishes: 2nd, 2nd, 2nd, 2nd :wall:
QB: Ljax, GenoD Jones, Minshew, Dobbs
RB: CMC, Stevenson, A Jones, Chubb, A Mattison, D cook, Perine, Mckinnon,
WR:Tyreek, Diggs, C Kupp, D Adams, Keenan Allen, Lockett, Gallup, A Lazard, Hodgins
TE: Kelce, LaPorta, Irv Smith,
No picks until 2026 5th rounder lol

My priority buys would be Deebo, Diontae, and maybe Isabella.

Other guys like Hollywood & DK interest me but I can't see their price being that low.

I think Renfrow could end up being a very good WR3 ... Gruden seems to like him and Raiders offense is trending up for sure.

Ironically, the production of this 2019 class so far has only made my league inflate the value of 2020 picks even more.

Like "Wow, this 2019 class has been fire, but that means the 2020 class will be even BETTER!". No, as much as we (including myself) want that to be true, that's not what it means unfortunately. But some people have just had this etched into their minds for the last 12+ months and likely won't be changing it.

I have two 2020 1st's so I may look to exploit that sentiment if people start to get carried away with their expectations.
10-team standard, 18-man rosters (plus K/D + 1 IR + 2 TAXI)
1QB | 2RB | 2WR | 1TE | 1FLEX
2021: 8-6, 5th (AP: 76-50 / 60.3%, 3rd) ||| Runner-up
2022: 5-1, 2nd (AP: 47-7 / 87.0%, 1st)

QB: Hurts, Russ, Carr
RB: Chubb, Pierce, Swift, JRob, D'Ernest, Ford
WR: Diggs, Evans, GDavis, Nuk, Keenan, Hollywood, Mooney, CSamuel, Doubs
TE: Kelce, Dulcich, Fant
2023 Picks: 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th
2024 Picks: 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th

Wellllllll I would say you can already look to exploit it. It's not just fantasy players getting hype.

I agree with Isabella, Harry, DK, and if AJ Brown can be had for the right price.

Hard to say. They owners that drafted those three likely saw upside from the beginning, so seeing them flash might raise those prices to an amount others aren't willing to pay. I'd give a late 1st for Deebo, and a mid or late 2nd for either of Isabella or Diontae.

I'd be willing to sell Isabella for a 2nd. No way I'm giving up Deebo for a late 1st or Diontae for a 2nd though
