These rookies were all going at big discounts to the 2020 prices. Almost every trade offered to me, people wanted more on top of the 2019 picks because next year's class is supposedly so much better. Glad I held what a did.

Kyler, Marquise , Deebo & Jacobs are my only long term almost every week starters with possibly Metcalf due to Wilson being a great match for what he does best. The rest are just run of the mill borderline guys that aren't transcendent talents. Compared to the RB class of Mixon,McCaffrey,Kamara, Fournette , Cook and eventually Hunt again (jury still out on Mack , Conner & A. Jones) ,,, Now THAT's an elite class !

add the TE class of Engram, Kittle, Njoku & O. J. plus Watson & Mahomes that's a lot of star talent full time starters. Wr sucked but JuJu , Cooper & Kenny G. look like starters while M. Williams and C. Davis are disappointments.

2020 may rival 2017 class with a dozen or so bona fide picks but 2019 has about half that unless D. Jones ,Haskins, Miles develop

Ice wrote: Mon Sep 16, 2019 5:51 am This past rookie class overall was pretty much blasted by the dynasty community as being weak. Probably due to limited RB depth but it is already becoming obvious the WR class is one of the best we have seen in years.

Through the first two weeks.

3 WR's in the top 30. (4,12,28)
2 WR's from 30-45. ( 38, 44)
3 WR's from 50-65. (52,64,65)

The old school thought was WR's breakouts were typically in year 2-3 but the game is changing. Even so, seeing this type of production out of rookie WR's this early is rare. All three in the top 30 are averaging 14 points or better and the top 2 are averaging 20 plus so far.

Special props to Hardman who ranked 64th due to a bomb TD. What is a bit scary is he had a another Bomb 50 plus yard TD called back due to penalty. M. Brown would have gone over 100 easily except for an early whistle on a missed tackle he broke at the line of scrimmage.

Campbell also showed up and caught a TD in his only target. I expect him to become involved in the near future and crack this list at some point.

This class was full of 1st round rookie dynasty talents.

The early top 4 this year are Brown, McLaurin, D.K. and Samuel.

All 4 of these players are close to must starts going forward even as rookies.
I agree the game is changing, but rookie wrs have been barely fantasy worthy all the way until this year. I thought it was starting to change with Beckham, but then there have been plenty of busts since him

I actually started Hollywood last second and think he is my flex play moving forward over guys like Davis, MVS and Washington
Agree, Williams is 44th on the list with 2 double digit games.

My early call for week 3 is Deebo as a must start. He gets the Steelers who are terrible covering WR's in the slot.

Imagine being "the guy" who went all in & drafted N'Keal Harry, Butler, Isabella, and Harmon. Talk about being on the outside of the party looking in.....

I wouldn't be too concerned about Isabella yet. I can't pry him away from his owners.

The best part about the rookie WRs is that it's not the top guys making the most noise. However, if you have seemingly ANY rookie WR at all, you are satisfied with how it's going so far.

I mean... not the Harry owners.... and Isabella didn't even dress for the Cardinals.... but seemingly everyone else. Just wow.

Isabella will take time, not my cup of tea but has future upside.

Harry, didn’t like him personally due to separation concerns but maybe next year.

Whiteside was always pretty much a year away unless a Jeffrey gets injured. I drafted him in one league but have to think anyone who drafted him took the long view.

You will see Deebo all over the field. That kid can line up anywhere including the backfield.

He will be a matchup nightmare

Wasn’t trying to refer to him as a slot Wr but he can certainly play anywhere in 3 and 4 Wr sets.

I am predicting quite a bit of slot work or motion this week to get matchups with DB 3

His versatility is a major strength of his game

All i know is this class is seriously ruining my whole "Suck in 2019 and tank for Jeudy or taylor so you can become a championship contender" plan. I was supposed to be one of the lowest scoring potential points team in the league due to "rookie and young player development" Jacobs, Brown, and Lamar, have really not helped that plan out. Not that im complaining though.
