If LeVeon sits, who does this create opportunity for?

The Jets should be awful this week with Simien filling in for Darnold and Bell getting a shoulder MRI. If he doesn't play this week, who stands to benefit the most? Is Ty Montgomery the every down back? Or will Trenton Cannon get some burn? Or perhaps good old reliable Bilal Powell gets some time?

Ty. But outside of Bell, if he suits up, I wouldn't start any Jet with Darnold out.

I think it'll be Ty Mont in a 3 down role. That said, with TS as the starting QB I doubt there's much here. Maybe a desperation flex play, in ppr, if you really need someone. TyMont could catch between 4-8 passes once they're playing catch up.

I think Ty has been doing well and looks solid as a player. He also has the receiving ability to be there when chasing points.

Powell could see some early down work.

In actuality, Crowder could receive an even further uptick in volume/targets. No Le'Veon in the screen game and Siemian throwing to him. Thomas is still slowly coming back from the achilles, and he is replacing Enunwa, who is out for the year.

I think Crowder takes Le'Veon's intermediary targets and retains his regular volume from last week.

This depth chart is absolutely wide open at the moment.

If the Jets are playing without Darnold and Bell, this creates opportunity for me to do something else with my Monday evening. Maybe a nice walk by the lake.

Both TE and slot WR should see an uptick of targets if Bell is out .. Crowder (can't imagine him getting more targets than last week though) vs TJ Carrie/Greedy and Ryan Griffin vs. M Burnett (who saw almost all off snaps with Herndon out).

I'd bet on Ty Montgomery to get the most work .. Think we would have seen Bilal some last week if he was in the running.

Just a fan of good football. In all seriousness, I wouldn't want any part of a Jets offense missing Darnold, Bell, and Herndon if that's how it plays out. I can't imagine that kind of unit compiling fantasy points.
