For all their bells and whistles, MNF coverage sucks. Chubb gets hurt, they don't show the field when he leaves, or talk about it. Instead, they show Booger etc talking to a ref in the booth.

How does a guy that has so little understanding of situational football get to be a head coach? Up by 20 with 2 minutes left, and you're calling pass plays and getting your QB hit?

Chubb got banged up? I thought they were just giving Johnson run.FantasyFreak wrote: ↑Mon Sep 16, 2019 8:04 pm For all their bells and whistles, MNF coverage sucks. Do you think Gregg Williams knows who Odell is now? If not, he may want to learn the name.

He held the ball along time, whereas last year he was getting it out super quick. Does this have to do with play calling? Quite a few of his passes sailed high. He was trying to force it all night, he was lucky there weren't more interceptions. Quite a few batted balls also. Overall his pocket presence and ability to find the open guy just wasn't there last night, where I feel that was one of his strengths last season. Again, is it play calling? The browns aren't going to take that next step unless Baker steps up.

It looked like it. He got hit and struggled to get up (if I remember right, they didn’t show much). He came back in after a couple plays thoughBot101 wrote: ↑Mon Sep 16, 2019 8:18 pmChubb got banged up? Man, that was a joke. Odell was being his usual baby self about that stuff, too. Going to the media and crying. I don't particularly like GW, but the context of that statement was 100 humour. Odell is insufferable. He's no AB, but he's also got 5 more years to get there.

Re: Way to early Week 2!!
He did, he came back to finish up the game, and Browns need to learn to get their guys out when the game is over. No reason why baker is trying to pass the ball with 8 seconds left in the game. He took a hard sack too.Badkins1121 wrote: ↑Tue Sep 17, 2019 6:16 amIt looked like it. He got hit and struggled to get up (if I remember right, they didn’t show much). And I agree the coverage sucks, I was as well wondering what happened, they didn't even mention he got hut.
