Week 1 Buy-Lows

Which players are you looking to buying low after Week 1 (in hopes that owners are panicking)

Here are mine (in no particular order and will obviously vary greatly in terms of what buy-low means for that specific player):

- Rookie RBs - specifically: Sanders, Montgomery, Justice Hill
- Cooper Kupp - didn't get to watch this game, he didn't light up the stat sheet, but a healthy dose of targets is encouraging, have to think he returns to form soon
- Devonta Freeman - Vikings D is nasty. Expected more, but not by much; think he'll bounce back
- Juju - locked up by Gilmore in this game, that's what the Pats do. Injury might add to the buy window
- Kenyan Drake is a maybe - can't get worse than it was this week right? lol / maybe he gets traded? either way he's a FA after this season

I would be hesitant to give up Watkins too, especially with Hill missing time

Miller might be a buy-low himself, but I'm pretty certain I would give up Gordon and Miller to get Sanders

RB - Guice, Sanders, Montgomery, Freeman, Gurley?, Henderson
WR - Cooks, Corey Davis?, Harry, JJAW

Gurley was already a buy low, not sure week1 will sway anybody either direction.
Davis also already a buy low...but not sure he has a ton of value going forward, so maybe buying now would still be buying high.

Corey Davis I think is the most obvious one, unfortunately we might have to wait on the Titans to move on from him. I really don't think he is the problem, it's the Titans inability/unwillingness to use him.

I would test the waters on Freeman and Aaron Jones. I would say Michel as well but I would think owners are still holding at market value.

C.J. Uzomah looks much quicker than last year and could produce borderline TE1 #'s when Eifert inevitably fades.

This seems like a better discussion for the redraft forum. People aren't going to sell low on Juju because he went 6/78 in week 1.

I'm not sure any rookie is a "buy low" after 1 game. If they are then their owner shouldn't be playing dynasty. In fact I'm not sure any player suddenly becomes a buy low after week 1.

The problem with some of the guys you listed is that they were already buy lows and have probably been moved during the offseason. Devonta Freeman shouldn't be on any rebuilding team so what motivation does a contender have to sell now?

Juju and Kupp did nothing to lower their values.

Now Corey Davis could be a guy to send some fliers out about. But I'm not sure what people are willing to pay. I shopped him this offseason and the best offer I got was a late 2019 2nd.

Kenyan Drake is similar to Corey Davis.

Week 1 is more about searching the waiver wire and seeing who is available. You need to wait a few more weeks before the buy low market takes shape.

This seems like a better discussion for the redraft forum. People aren't going to sell low on Juju because he went 6/78 in week 1.

Yeah, I agree with this. Sending a lowball offer on a proven player like Juju will get you ridiculed in most competitive leagues. There's not many buy lows after Week 1 in dynasty, because you're usually not going to make a drastic decision because of 1 game.

Sure, I’m not saying I plan to throw insultingly low offers at anyone. As for Juju in particular: a lot of people have questioned whether he will be a great #1 option without AB opposite him. It’s possible that this was enough to confirm that for someone who already had concerns

If you could get him for a little bit of a lower price than he typically goes for, safe to say it’s worth it

It's over-reaction Monday. Perfect time to throw out some offers. I'd target Mixon, A Jones, Mike Williams, Cooks, Diggs, & Kirk. In SF I'd target ARod as I've seen a fair amt of ppl using Thurs game as confirmation that ARod is not a top 5 QB any more.
