That's a good point. I grabbed Chark off waivers before start of season for free. Been feeling out the market for him. Hoping I can grab a 2nd or package him for a QB upgrade

Pettis found the endzone this week & his snap counts remained similar to Week II, so as a reward he might see more snaps in Week V.

The good news, if you're not an owner, is Pettis is on Bye for Week IV, and that along with his slow start might pry him loss from some owners with the start of bye weeks.

I've liked Pettis a lot heading into the year but I've also been a huge fan of Deebo. It's starting to look inevitable that this is Deebo's team unless JG can somehow step it up to support multiple fantasy assets.

I mainly like the fact he's on the field the 2nd most as a rookie and just barely behind Goodwin who is nothing more than a situational deep threat and the only real veteran on the team. He's also doing what I saw him be great at in college, take quick short passes and turn into a more explosive and bigger golden Tate with the ball in his hands. He's a great route runner as well and I'd like to seem him targeted more down the field because I think he can win there as well but time will tell.

It's pretty telling that a rookie is playing more than the 2nd year veteran and producing relatively well considering JG hasn't been very good to this point. 3 weeks in and Deebo is on the field more than Pettis as a rookie.

Someone dropped Pettis in a league. I'm indifferent to him but I did spend the rest of my FAAB on him.

Yesterday they said he's had a lingering pectoral injury:

"He had an injury in training camp where he hurt his pec," Shanahan continued. "That made it tough to lift his upper body and stuff, which he's still coming back from but my biggest thing with him is his legs and everything. I think the way he's attacked that weight room and got his leg strength back and just the way he's been working on the practice field.

He was dropped in my 10 team bar league (by a rebuilding team ) and i was the only one to bid last night (12%). Very happy to have him on the end of my bench. He ran some nice routes on Sunday.

I'm holding. Doesn't look great right now, but I still believe he can be the guy in SF, and WR2 upside.

Not a good time to sell anyways. I'm going to hold for at least this year.

Does Pettis still have value now that SF traded for Emmanuel Sanders? I would think if he has any value he is a year or two away. He was dropped in my league and I suspect he'll be dropped in lots of leagues.

Well with RB byes in my SF league (team 2 in sig), felt I had to drop him to pick up AP. Prior I tried trading him for a 2020 4th to everyone... no takers.

yup really regretting not trading him in the off season, but hey, I was buying into the hype. I think he may need a new team, which he very well could get if the 49ers make some more moves either in the draft or with vets next off season.
