he did have a bit of an injury though, i doubt it's just the drops in preseason.

I'm not cutting ties at all, he's a strong hold for me and potentially a buy where I don't own him.
I just brought him up to be discussed because I find the story so bizarre and was curious if anyone had more knowledge/opinions on the situation

Pettis is a monster talent on-field, both as a route runner and as a slippery YAC guy, but maybe he is a locker-room head case a la Ajayi or something...?

Yup, I wasn't on the pettis train but was on the Miller and MVS one's. Miller coming from a similar situation was incredibly alarming, MVS on the flip side was great.
This is a huge red flag and I'd only invest with a major discount in Pettis

I think the hype on getting a (late) 1st for him disappeared a while ago. Most valued him @ a 2nd prior to Week 1
I think I'd be pretty comfortable buying for a 3rd, which could very well be his price at this point
