Yeah I realized in the 1st quarter, I shouldn't have started Minshew over Ryan. Going to be bad call now, but I originally thought it would be more of a shootout

I thought so too before this year but he has changed my mind

Playing with such a terrible roster I against two possible playoff teams (and the Dolphins), I am not sure what more he could be doing (besides tonight)
He has missed open receivers and missed reads tonight. He hasn't played well when objectively good opportunities were available tonight, regardless of who was running the route, they were open, and he either missed the throw, or the read, on quite a few occasions. I just don't think he's a long term starter, unless you want a back end QB for your franchise long term.
Raiders seem happy to do it, why not Jags 8-) :ewink:

I could see Gardner Minshew having a very similiar career to Fitzpatrick.
16 team league
1 QB, 2 RB, 2 WR, 1 TE, 2 Flex (RB/WR/TE)
26 upman rosters - full point ppr

QB: Watson, Flacco Stidham
RB: Bijan, Gibbs, McLaughlin
WR: Olave, Addison, Flowers, Rice, Sutton, Downs, Mims, Tillman
TE: Kittle, Goedert, Chig, Woods

Tell me Philly isn't loving this guy right now. I always had a soft spot for the "try hard" guy with the uphill climb to relevance.

This guy deserves to be a teams full time QB... He's gotta be better than at least 5 starters in the league
I'd take Minshew over:
Hertz
Goff
Jimmy G
Anyone on CAR
Big Ben
Bridgewater/Lock
Matt Ryan
Heinicke
Probably Wentz
Probably Tua
Probably Zach Wilson
Maybe Fields

Idk if I'm underestimating those listed above or if I have a soft spot for the GOAT, but he shouldn't be a backup in this league imo
12 Team 1 ppr .1 points per carry
Garbage
QB Jalen Hurts
RB A-train, D'Onta Foreman,Jahmyr Gibbs, JK Dobbins, Rashaad Penny, AJ Dillon, Jerrick McKinnon, Joshua Kelley, TDP, Chase Edmonds, JRob, Zamir White
WR CeeDee Lamb, Justin Jefferson, DJ Moore, Hollywood Brown, Brandin Cooks, Odell Beckham Junior, Marvin Jones, Braxton Berrios, Richie James
TE Dalton Kincaid, Foster Moreau
+2 Flex
1.02, 1.06

He runs hot and cold, I wouldn't jump the gun. Tends to hold the ball too long and his lack of true arm strength sometimes creeps up on him.

Still, a good QB and a debatable starter with the right staff and pieces.
