Not the splashy news most would care about, but I can see this leading to him signing in houston given Miller's injury.

As a Jacobs owner, this is great. Already looked like he was gonna get a huge workload and this confirms it.

What FantasyFreak said. I had hoped not just because I like seeing guys like Martin play, but it is not unexpected.

Ya, but it is kind of to be expected for a RB going into year 8.

If he has actually been released and not just placed on IR, then I hope he gets picked up by the Texans or something, but I kinda hope they sign Jay Ajayi.

I don't think this really impacts Jacobs at all, as mentioned above - Martin was simply outplayed by Washington.

Also, apparently Martin is actually headed to IR.

I designated Jalen Richard a cut in the league I owned him, and the roster purge was 30 minutes before the news that Martin was released. :|

Funny how the Texans are the favorite landing spot for literally any washed up RB
