I traded RoJo for Quincy Enunwa and a 2020 3rd round pick a little while ago if that helps anybody. I got him as a throw-in during the season last year so I didn't have much invested into keeping him to begin with.

I must admit...I don't follow the forum enough to have ever noted that, it's apparently common knowledge.

I did consider it once you all started making those posts, but given the number of posts and time as a user...Mike H user stats...it didn't make sense they were the same. Didn't seem possible

Apparently you can just swap a name.

He's been in the league for over a year. I have another thread somewhere detailing a good 10 plays or so that he messed up either last year or in the NCAA. If you watch his "highlights", all he did was outrun opponents (for the most part) and that's usually a sure sign of a future bust. There was one sweet run he had that gave me a moment of pause, so I'll give him that.

This isn't a "few carries", just more of the same. I'm trying one last time to persuade anyone who will listen to bail while some people still have hope.

Did Ronald Jones steal your car? Say something to your wife that pissed you off? Try and sell drugs to your teenager?

I just don’t get the steadfast and consistent barrage of negative criticism for this player, or any player for that matter. The kid is 22. He has hype, a good draft Pedigree. Some chalk last season up to his talent and some to coaching.

Many love his upside and many are doubters. Why don’t we just let time tell it’s course instead of systematically devaluing him before he even has a legitimate chance to develop. This kind of perpetual negative criticism of young players by industry guys is what turns something that is supposed to be fun into a pseudo-political partisan “I’m drawing a moral line in the sand” endeavor. And it’s one that I don’t find tasteful and won’t be apart of.

I appreciate the time and effort that went into compiling this post, and I get all the red flags Jones has raised since he was drafted. Nevertheless, I see a six-yard gain on second-and-3 that might've been a touchdown if Godwin makes a better block. Do you have film of the previous play when Jones ran for seven yards? Was that flawed too?

Edited to add: on further review, I think he could have picked up an additional two or three yards if he cuts inside of Godwin's block. But with the safety coming up to fill that hole, no trouble understanding why he opted to bounce it outside. It's just that outside is not the path that Godwin's block ultimately created.

I don't see it with Jones or Barber. I think it's safe to say that TB will be drafting or signing an RB in 2020. Both players are on borrowed time and look extremely mediocre.
