His stats weren’t great but how’d he look?
He looked very explosive. But it was after the starters were out on offense. So it'll take some time to leap frog at least Edwards and Dixon. Unless however, the Ravens were attempting to showcase either for a trade.

Actually, Ronald Jones looked good on that opening drive. Think he takes a huge step this year. Bucs offense should be very good. Big believer in Arians offense. Was very good in Arizona also. Looking forward to seeing Mason Rudolph play tonight too.

RoJo looked pretty good to me. He looks thick and a bit slow though, and no better than Barber tonight. Holding out hope, but there isn’t any statistical argument, or good tape, or anything to make RoJo’s outlook rosy. At least it looks like he’ll get a 50/50 Split and a shot to win the lion’s share of touches.

James Washington really making a case right now to move into the starting rotation in some way

Is Evans not playing tonight?

No Evans tonight. Minnesota vs New Orleans game is shockingly most starters on both sides so far with the exception of Brees and Dalvin Cook for Minnesota. Looks like Latavius Murray will have a good role if the opening drive was any indication even in the passing game. Rudolph had a couple nice catches on Vikes open drive as well as Thielen caught a deep one. Cousins finished off the drive with a td pass.

Evans as in Mike Evans? If so, he was in on the opening series. Just no passes his way.

What's it matter if Mike Evans plays? In fact I would prefer he didn't.

Steeler backup QBs did some nice things. Dobbs and Rudolph both looked decent. Bridgewater looks pretty good for the Saints too.

agreed he looked real good. wasnt that big on him last year because i thought hed be buried on the depth chart but he keeps on like this he'll be flying up those draft boards

He did the same thing last pre season and then had a rough and inconsistent regular season. I get why he is second string right now(hence why he was starting/playing this game even), but as an owner, since there isn’t any useful data to project him with and his role is in flux, Washington is like RoJo to me, just hold and hope he does enough to be in the starting rotation.

He sure did look good though huh
