What’s the cut line with him now? In dynasty I suppose it’s “trade” line? What’s the best WR you would give for him now?

In keepers, I kept Golladay over him in one league, but will likely keep him over Godwin and Moore.

I would take all three of those WR's over Green.

Thanks. Dynasty Trade analyzer has Golladay ahead of him, but not the others. So where’s the cut off/value?

Kupp, Ridley, Davis, Woods? Is there a buy opportunity for “win now” owners? I ask because I am always (!!) in win now mode (except when buying the occasionally discounted orphan).

I bet theres a good chance Green starts on the PUP. I can't see anyone buying right now.

Me too. Forget about Green. For a win now team you hold until he evaporates but no way you drop Godwin or Moore

Hits keep coming for Green. During the surgical procedure they discovered it was worse than expected. Hes now expected to miss a few games.

Considering the original timeline was 6-8 weeks, that already had him missing 3 games if it was 8 weeks. So I don't think it's any worse than I had expected. I just think when you say "6-8 weeks" in July that isn't as impactful as saying "missing a few regular season games".

Let’s talk... AJ Green

So I saw the AJ Green Injury and engaged the owner to see if he wanted to bail. He came back with Vance McDonald (TE Super Premium league) and a 2020 1st. I looked further and realized:
- He just turned 31 years old (today, happy bday AJ)
- He’s not finished top 10 the last 3 years
- He likely only has 2-3 years left, and likely at WR2 production (at best)

I know I’m probably slow in realizing how far he’s fallen... but what are our thoughts on him?

This thread may give you some insight on the current state of AJG:

Preach it! It's a message board. "Lets talk about..." is implied with every thread. It's like when people put the word "file" in their file names.

I think AJG can play into his mid 30's. He has the talent, and the athleticism to do it. While this injury is not ideal, I don't think it's the type of injury that will force him to have a shortened career. He wants to be in the HOF. He has a high motor, and wants to have a lengthy career. I can see him playing until 35, like a lot of guys who ended up being in the HOF. I don't think he will be a WR1 again (although on a per game basis I can still see it this year, when he comes back). He was a WR1 on a per game basis last year. I would not be acquiring him, but on the one team I have him on, I will hold, as his production will be worth it in the games he does play. AJG is still a super talented player, but he has been stricken with injuries the last few years. I don't think he's going to retire any time soon, though. This isn't a Dez Bryant, Michael Crabtree situation. Last time he was on the field, he was a WR1.

He has more loyalty to his team than most do in his situation. That should help lengthen his career (fantasy-wise) also. Mike Brown will work it out with him. Being in that familiar situation for his latter years will help.
