2019 NFL Training Camp Thread
Re: 2019 NFL Training Camp Thread
I like Wims. I haven't been moved on Ridley or Miller. Miller looked nothing more than a scrappy 4th receiver last year. I thought he was limited athletically when the Bears drafted him.

Re: 2019 NFL Training Camp Thread
Miller did play hurt almost all year. He's a 90th percentile Sparq X athlete, the only thing he lacks is blazing speed. He also has 10 and a half inch hands, or something like that. I think he can be a good NFL slot receiver, although I'm not sure what that means is Chicago's offense.

A scrappy receiver with good hands for sure. A number 2 though is asking too much. I like the guy, but I don't like that the Bears wants him as a starter.FantasyFreak wrote: ↑Fri Aug 02, 2019 7:04 pmMiller did play hurt almost all year. Yeah, I mean they traded up I think, in the 2nd to get him, so they definitely do.TheNuts wrote: ↑Fri Aug 02, 2019 8:06 pmA scrappy receiver with good hands for sure. - 7 TDs on 54 targets
- that, despite playing with a serious shoulder injury most of the season
- the tape shows it would've been double-digit TDs if Trub hadn't been so inaccurate targeting the third-level

AB is seeing a foot specialist.
Sigh.
Sigh.
Re: 2019 NFL Training Camp Thread
I won't be shocked if it really is only just some sort of painful skin condition on his feet. I mean, it's AB. He's a diva. And after successfully forcing his way out of Pittsburgh and getting everything he wanted in the process, I can imagine him power-tripping a little right now.

Hayden Hurst having a good camp. According to ESPN's Ravens reporter, he has "looked like a first-round pick all week." Hurst was having a good camp before his foot fracture last year, too.
Unfortunately for Hurst owners, Andrews is playing even better. According to virtually everyone.

I have been reading a lot of really good things about the Ravens passing attack overall.

It is about blisters on his feet. Same with Robinson, if Trubs takes the next step in his development both Miller and Arob could be very good this year.ninotoreS wrote: ↑Fri Aug 02, 2019 8:57 pm- 7 TDs on 54 targets

I assumed most Raider fan's feet looked/smelled like this, so AB is just trying to fit inFantasyFreak wrote: ↑Sun Aug 04, 2019 7:59 am554x1199.jpeg.edc177f1caeb4a8898c067ed4b166df8.large.jpegninotoreS wrote: ↑Sat Aug 03, 2019 1:03 pm I won't be shocked if it really is only just some sort of painful skin condition on his feet. It doesn't look like cellulitis.

Re: 2019 NFL Training Camp Thread
What analytics are you looking at? His dominator and breakout age were barely above the 50th percentile. Coming out of Louisiana Tech, you'd want those to be much higher. He did have a solid senior season from a pure statistical standpoint but his best games that year came against Middle Tennessee State, South Carolina State and Navy. Not saying he can't be a value or even a breakout, because anything is possible and he does seem to be getting a lot of hype, but just kind of skeptical regarding the "production analytics stud" claim.ninotoreS wrote: ↑Fri Aug 02, 2019 4:13 pm Trent Taylor is having a great camp so far. Unlike Pettis, who started slow and has only gotten into his groove the last few days, Taylor has been hot from day one in camp. Kiiiiinda feeling some 'Tyler Boyd at this same time last year' deja vu. Taylor was a low-key production analytics stud coming out of college.
I'm mulling the notion Taylor could out-produce Deebo this season. I wonder if people are expecting too much from a rookie that has had injury issues in three of his past four seasons of football.
But I'm hesitant to plant a Taylor hype flag because Shanahan prizes versatility with his WRs, and Taylor really shouldn't be anywhere but the slot. So even if he's the best pure slot on the chart, it may not be rewarded in SF because Shanahan would still prefer three other WRs out there that can be anywhere in the formation on any down.
