I don't know how people can say this. Drake was RB14 last year in PPR and he had LESS than 200 touches (173).

I get the complaints about his pass protection, but he's criminally underused as a playmaker. Ballage is probably a better runner between the tackles, but Drake is Miami's best playmaker and they don't give him the ball. It'll be interesting to see if that changes, but he and Duke Johnson have the same problem. Give those guys the ball in space and let them make plays.
remember when everyone was saying give lamar miller the ball and he would explode? wrong. he looked like a plodder when he had to carry the load. not bad but certainly not great. he looked much better when his touches were limited. drake comes across as the same kind of player.

That may be true, it may not be. We don't know, and that's the reason I'd definitely like to see him get a full workload

I disagree. I don't think Drake is or needs to be a bellcow. That's never been his game. I just think Miami, given their lack of playmakers on offense, would be wise to give their best playmaker touches. There's no reason Drake shouldn't get 15+ touches per game. He had 10.8 last year. Line him up as a receiver, run screens...do anything to get him in space. He has big play ability.

He almost produced low-end RB1 production while not being consistently used.

- Fitz ahead of Rosen still
- Trent Williams still not at camp in WAS, which means more limelight for Ereck Flowers LOL
- Same note ^, Donald Penn visiting Washington...guy was a decent OT in Oakland from 2014-2017.
- Cam to Curtis Samuel looking good so far
- Hurns signing with Miami
- Shepard broke his thumb, nice start to a new contract!

Derrick Henry and AJ Brown both left practice with injuries. Obviously there's no reason for real concern based on that, but imagining Tennessee's offense if those guys went down is nauseating.

12-team SF, PPR, TE premium, 0.25 PPCarry
1QB 2RB 2WR 1TE 1SF 4Flex
QB: Mahomes, Fields, Love
RB: Bijan, ETN, Pollard, Achane, Herbert
WR: Kupp, Hill, Metcalf, Ridley, Jeudy, D.J. M, Burks, Hollywood, Wan'Dale
TE: Kyle Pitts, Goedert

Yeah that is one of the most challenging things about training camp / pre-season - trying to figure out which of these injuries could be serious and when it is simply precautionary to ensure no further issue. Hopefully for both players the team is just being cautious.

Didn't he tweak his hammy in OTA's? Could be problematic if it's that again.

Nothing but positive things about Ballage. Running with the first team.

I had an offer for a 2021 4th round for ballage...figured that meant he was looking good in camp.

Ballage has shown well, and at his ADP he could be a steal.

AJ Brown did, yeah. Rookies seem to sometimes struggle with hamstring injuries.

He was pretty close to waiver fodder already, but this ACL makes C. Coleman completely droppable at this point right?
