Re: Guice injures hamstring
I'm trying to get caught up here, but I don't think anyone has said he's worth the 2020 1.01. Can someone quote where that was said?

Re: Guice injures hamstring
This is where it stems from dynastyninja. It's from page 3 and the poster doesn't say it will happen; but, speculates it could happen. I for one don't think it's possible unless Guice ends up as say a top 3 RB this year and even then it might be sketchy with the hype for 2020 already building.gogobradyarm wrote: ↑Fri Jul 12, 2019 8:52 pm Guice was a top pick from 18. If you're willing to bet on a late 20 1st as a prospect, then you have to be incredibly high on the depth of the 2020 class. If Guice plays well in 19, he could be the 2020 1.01

Yeah I was just thinking career years. He will be on year 3, but you're right 2 years older.M-Dub wrote: ↑Sun Jul 14, 2019 11:56 amEven if your doomsday scenario is accurate and Guice does nothing this year, how is he going to get three years older in a two-year span?Lumps wrote: ↑Sun Jul 14, 2019 11:16 amTruly baffling.
He already is injured this year.
Soft tissue issues tend to linger.
AD is still there.
Thompson is still there.
What exactly do you think he'll put up this season... keeping in mind he is rehabbing from a torn ACL after multiple infections?
So now we are at 2020.....
Incoming class of stud RBs.
Bryce Love will be fully healed from HIS ACL.
Guice is now 3 years older and done nothing.
Regardless, I don't think that is "Doomsday scenario." Those are all facts. The only thing to argue is "doing nothing", and what that means. If people are talking about only taking a high 1st for him in 2020, yeah no. He is NOT going to produce to be worthy of that because of all of the above.

Re: Guice injures hamstring
The non-elite RBs age at a first rate than elite ones. In fact, when Guice was a newborn, the wear and tear he was going to suffer in college was already affecting him.M-Dub wrote: ↑Sun Jul 14, 2019 11:56 amEven if your doomsday scenario is accurate and Guice does nothing this year, how is he going to get three years older in a two-year span?Lumps wrote: ↑Sun Jul 14, 2019 11:16 amTruly baffling.

Re: Guice injures hamstring
I know. ACL, hamstring on the same leg. For a guy at his age, it only makes sense that he'll be having his hip replaced any day now.

Release the guice
Guice cleared for camp. Obvious risk but he holds immense upside. Hope everybody bought before right now because his value just doubled.

Re: Release the guice
You didn't hear the news, he injured his hamstring a few weeks ago and his leg just fell right off. I'd say it was a fluke but it happened to Gurley too. Just awful stuff. But if Luck can learn to throw left handed after his right arm fell off at the shoulder then I think Guice can learn to run on just one leg.Huh wrote: ↑Wed Jul 24, 2019 5:04 pmHuhDynasty DeLorean wrote: ↑Wed Jul 24, 2019 4:46 pm Wow, what a hero playing on only 1 leg. No, he just got his leg sewn back on, so that's why his value has doubled.Dynasty DeLorean wrote: ↑Wed Jul 24, 2019 4:46 pm Wow, what a hero playing on only 1 leg. An inspiration to ppl everywhere.
