TEs Outside Top Three

D3:
QB—Allen, Pickett RB—Kamara, Jacobs, ZWhite, Edwards, Ford, Warren WR—Lamb, Olave, DJM, Puka, Tillman, Marshall, Jefferson, Robinson, Tucker TE—Ferguson, Schoon, Likely, Smith, Washington, Kraft PK—Prater DEF—BAL

In order

Oj Howard (dont listen to the people who say Arians doesnt use TEs. Oj is too good for that. I dont own OJ.)

Evan Engram (Personally i like howard more but this season its not by much and i could see Engram having a huge role and perhaps being the better FF player than OJ. Oj is the superior all around TE tho)

Mark Andrews (Lamar is still developing which many times translates to a lot of TE involvement in the offense and i expect Andrews to be the TE there ahead of Hurst who i do own)

Chris Herndon (I own this guy so im partial but i love him, will he put up 1000 yards and 10 TDs? No. But does he have a chance of doing something like 700-7? I think so.)

Awesome, thanks! I'll keep that in mind for dynasty trades and redrafts, too. Good stuff.

The first two will be much more costly than the last two. If you have the assets than def go for Howard and Engram since they seem to be more of a sure thing but if not i bet you can get the last two for pretty cheap, especially Herndon. You may be able to get Herndon for a 2020 second, Andrews may even go for the same depending on how knowledgeable the owner is.

Cool. I'm also in a 2 TE redraft, so I'm doing research for a few different leagues.

I'd be targeting Delanie Walker. Fairly cheap and I think he will put up good numbers. Not to mention the Titans new OC was their TE's coach.

Vance McDonald put up 50-610-4 last year and the team moved on from Jesse James. He might even pick up some of the targets from ABs departure.

austin hooper continues to be one of the best values in redraft and dynasty. herndon is facing a possible suspension so I'm not so sure I'd take him in redraft (he's also playing for Adam Gase)
12 team ppr, 1 qb, 2 rb, 2 wr, 1 te, 2 flex
QB: Deshaun Watson, Marcus Mariota
RB: Ezekiel Elliott, Le'Veon Bell, Kerryon Johnson, Peyton Barber, Ronald Jones, Darwin Thompson
WR: Amari Cooper, Adam Thielen, Antonio Brown, Will Fuller, DeDe Westbrook, Robby Anderson, Marquise Goodwin, Justin Watson, Albert Wilson, Greg Dortch
TE: Travis Kelce, Vance McDonald, Kyle Rudolph, Delanie Walker, Ian Thomas, Gerald Everett

OJ Howard is far and away the most likely to join that tier in my opinion. His efficiency metrics are off the charts which as a young TE is one of the strongest predictors of soon to be elite TEs. Hunter Henry falls into this category as well. Engram/Njoku do not.

For really late round dart throws I like Hayden Hurst. He was a 1st round pick only a year ago and he struggled with injuries his rookie year. A healthy guy who was taken in the 1st round just last year is worth the ~20th round pick he's going for, even with Andrews outplaying him last year.

Really like this one too, dirt cheap and has shown productivity.

As a hurst owner i like this but i think Andrews showed a real lot last year and Hurst would need to really outplay him for this to happen.

Andrews as a cheap sleeper is rising, so I'm glad I got a few shares of him when I did

On topic of someone who's value is falling? Kyle Rudolph.

Top 10 TE finishes last 3 years (2nd, 8th, 7th). Only one besides Ertz and Kelce to do that.

That is a very safe floor to be had for cheap. Perfect guy to buy to round out a contending team with rb/wr strength and just needs something reliable at TE to not lose him weeks.

Irv Smith is a 2nd round TE in need of developing. Not like they took Fant or Hock who are much more nfl ready.

How about Shaheen for your bears? He's got tons of potential going into year 3. Same with Everett.

I sure hope you are correct on Shaheen. I’ve been holding in my TE super premium (1.5 pot, .15 for 10yds) money league when I could have gotten an early 2019 second for him. TE’s in this league are like gold, even 2nd/3rd stringers.
