That's only a slice of the pie that is ODB, though (check out what I added to my post while you were replying to me ). And Beckham's route-craft as a rook was a lot better than pretty good; his hips were telling lies to DBs from day one.

That's fair. I don't think he is OBJ level, but there can be a big gap between OBJ and a guy who can be a mid-low tier WR1, especially if he is involved in a better passing attack.

October 4th court date for weed and driving on suspended license. I have a feeling it’s gonna be a bumpy ride with this guy, which pains me because I really want to buy into the Cleveland passing game.

Re: Thoughts on Antonio Callaway?
He's already overvalued. Talented, but risky pick for OTF reasons before, and plenty of great receiving options around him.
If I owned him, I'd sell, sell, sell while the Browns love is (is this REALLY happening??) so high.

If I could get 2 2nd's for him right now I'd probably do it. I like him and I hope he succeeds but for some reason weed seems to be addictive to NFL players. The guy tested positive at the combine and was pulled over with weed under his seat (though the Browns seem to believe his story that it wasn't his). Gordon and Bryant have scared me too much I guess.

I offered 2 #2's for him & got rejected. With 4-5 potential WRs in next's years draft, I can't see offering a #1 straight up for him unless its guaranteed to be a very low first rounder.Mefisto wrote: ↑Wed Sep 26, 2018 2:17 pm If I could get 2 2nd's for him right now I'd probably do it. Oh man there's nothing I hate more than drafting WRs with high 1st round picks. I feel like we as a community do a pretty poor job picking out which ones will really hit.Forza_Azzurri wrote: ↑Wed Sep 26, 2018 2:31 pmI offered 2 #2's for him & got rejected. Re: Thoughts on Antonio Callaway?
Eh, only since the ODB draft. You can easily say the same thing about high 1st-RBs for a while till the last few years.
Truth is, they're all high-risk coin flips - and not even that. NFL teams pour millions every year into their evals and look how much they bust. It's simply the nature of it.

That’s fair, but it’s nor like Callaway is w/o risk. Honestly, the most interesting thing about Callaway is that he appears to be on an ascending offense.0LDMAN wrote: ↑Wed Sep 26, 2018 3:36 pmOh man there's nothing I hate more than drafting WRs with high 1st round picks. I took Moore this year as first WR drafted, but I now think it was a mistake... not b/c of him but because of the Panthers offense can’t support a WR1. As a community, we way too often underestimate the importance of situation.
In regards to next year’s draft, I don’t think any the talent is transcendent; however, the depth of the talent at WR means there will be multiple WR landing in favorable situations.
