Id buy for a second only sell for a first lol.

I like me some Callaway, I'm sure no one would pay that but that's what I would need.

I offered 2 #2's for him & got rejected. With 4-5 potential WRs in next's years draft, I can't see offering a #1 straight up for him unless its guaranteed to be a very low first rounder.
Oh man there's nothing I hate more than drafting WRs with high 1st round picks. I feel like we as a community do a pretty poor job picking out which ones will really hit.
That’s fair, but it’s nor like Callaway is w/o risk. Honestly, the most interesting thing about Callaway is that he appears to be on an ascending offense.

I took Moore this year as first WR drafted, but I now think it was a mistake... not b/c of him but because of the Panthers offense can’t support a WR1. As a community, we way too often underestimate the importance of situation.

In regards to next year’s draft, I don’t think any the talent is transcendent; however, the depth of the talent at WR means there will be multiple WR landing in favorable situations.
I agree, but one reason I don't like to acquire picks in-season for young players like Callaway, is because I am forfeiting the ability to see what I have.
Essentially, trading Callaway for picks is just resetting the clock on the "what do I have" question. In terms of what I can expect from a second round pick in rookie seasons, Starting Wide Receiver who looks talented but raw, in an ascending offense is pretty close to the top. That's why for me it seems pointless to sell him, just to roll the dice a year or two from now and hope I end up with a guy who will be in Callaway's shoes next October or October in 2020. People were selling JuJu for 2 second round picks last year too.

Have him on both my teams I think he's showed as much as any rookie receiver outside Ridley and he's still 3 years younger so the sky's the limit. I would be shocked (and thrilled) if he became a wr1 though

Besides some of the dropsies hes had, I think hes looked incredible. He embarrassed Claiborne if you watched the game. He has great footwork and his route running is better than I expected. Especially given the fact he didnt play football in 2017.

The upside is he gets open so easily, this really should have been a development year for him.

If he develops ball skills he will hit.

TBF Baker was actually pretty awful yesterday. He had some nice passes (especially to Njoku) but his passes targeting Callaway and Landry were mostly trash. I think after he hurt the ankle he couldn't get quite right.

I saw something from PFF, that 13 of 29 targets to Landry have been catchable.

Baker had 70%+ accuracy in college and he's sitting somewhere in the 50's today....season is young but Baker's going through some growing pains.

As long as the Browns continue to give him that % of snaps and he is still being targeted 6+ times a game, I'm not selling him. This whole offense is going through growing pains. Callaway strikes me as the type of guy to come back in year 2 with some experience and a lot of practice with a then more experienced QB and blow people away. The talent and physical tools are there. Considering I got him in the 4th round of the rookie draft, its just not worth it to me to sell him at his current value and no one is going to overpay for him yet.

Wasn't he also out of football all of 2017?

Speed is King in the NFL... I’m not selling unless I get a late first. I know nobody is going to pay that so looks like I have a keeper.

He's dead man. I say this as a previous owner who bought him early this past offseason and have since dropped him. Corey Coleman also had attitude and work ethic problems which exacerbated his drop problems.
