In 2017 I drafted Kamara at 1.09 and then after week 5 or 6 I traded him and a 2018 1st (not my own pick) for Devonta Freeman. The 2018 1st ended up being 1.01 (Barkley). So I traded Kamara and Barkley for D Freeman. I still have nightmares over that one.

Thank you for sharing. I'm only a year into my dynasty life but this type of this gives me nightmares. I know you win some and lose some but dang.

Blockbuster trade from my first year playing dynasty (1QB league)

Gave: Mahomes + Michel + Corey Davis + Hunter Henry + my 1st & 2nd rd picks which somehow turned out to be 1.02 & 2.02
Got: OBJ + Baker + Tevin Coleman + Jay Ajayi

Really wanted OBJ & needed a WR

The good news is I was able to claim DJ Moore, Christian Kirk, & Dante Pettis off waivers in the weeks following the trade

Needed RB help for title contention last year and decided Yeldon would be a good stop gap while LF was injured. Other owner wanted Ebron and I was hesitant but at the time Doyle was due back in 2 weeks and Yeldon was the RB10 in standard scoring. I submitted to team advice and everyone unanimously agreed this was a great deal (somehow made better because I had Kelce already). I end up going against my gut and trusting the masses. I got one usable start out of Yeldon and now Ebron is a top 5 dynasty TE...

but to make you feel better heres a sick list of horrible moves i have made in one league:

weeks before the season where devante breaks out i send him away for danny woodhead (must start 3 rb league and wasnt a devante believer and still new to dynasty lol)

same league 2 rookie drafts ago i trade up from 6 to 4 giving russ wilson for rivers, send pick 4 for d henry and pick 13, take zay jones at pick 13 (over juju kupp mahomes etc), take kupp at 23 (passing on juju) take mahomes at 3.03 (over juju), trade kupp and 2018 first for larry fitz and lamar miller, trade mahomes and austin hooper for frank gore and kizer (had only rivers no waiver wire in league needed a backup qb and kizer starting mahomes sitting).

so i passed on juju 4 times, landed kupp and mahomes but managed to trade them away for nothin before the end of season lol. lamar miller is doing ok for me haha effffff.

Then later that day I see this with the defending champ
Team A gave Julio, Brees (superflex), Dionte Johnson
Team B gave Golloday, 2nd, Foles, Geronimo Allison

I'm really in no position to gripe tho. The week before I did this with the same owner who sold Julio and Brees for cheap
I gave: Tyreek Hill, Godwin, Drake, J Samuels, 3rd
I got: Amari Cooper, Fournette, 2019 1st, 2020 1st

Other league mates 100% have to be upset. The two best teams got better, and looks like both fleeced the same owner

Saw multiple people question this. Looked up his startup ADP and he's going as the 10th TE so not top 5, which surprisesd me considering his TE3 finish last year. Guess people have little faith of a repeat and/or him being resigned by Indy after this year.

I was extremely rudely offered a wr going into his 3rd year, first two seasons meager sub 500 yarders, and a paltry 2nd for the ppr wr3. I told that owner to go jump off a bridge with that offensive offer.

Yeah. I turned down Davante Adams for Jarvis Landry during 2016 pre season

I also traded up in an absolute steal from 1.8 and 1.9 to get 1.3 with Corey Davis, a surefire stud wr1, available because some "stupid" owner took Christian McCaffrey 1st overall. Fournette obviously went 2nd.

Not my trade but this one jumps out to me.

First year of the league (2017-2018 season), after startup draft someone traded their 2018 1st for Michael Crabtree. that first became the 1.01.

Barkley for Crabtree seems like a good trade right?

I had a similar one.

Early in the season: I traded Bilal Powell to a guy for a 1st Round 2018 pick. (He was desperate for a RB?)

The following week same guy wants his pick back and offers up Alshon straight up for it. Took the bait as I needed WR help to try to win now mode. Pick turned out to be 1st overall (Barkley)
