Oh man the list of dumb, idiotic things I've done in just the last 3 years in my home league (team 1 in sig) is ridiculous. Ill be back later when I have more time to post specifically what those blunders were.

Worst trade in recent years was last year. Sent Tyler Boyd, Eric Ebron, and a 2020 1st for OJ Howard and Nelson Agholor...really believed in Howard and as a lions fan thought Ebron was a sell high dud (still might be ahaha)

Wouldn't sweat it. Ebron is nowhere close to a top 5 dynasty TE

Traded away James Conner + Eric Ebron + 2020 2nd for Brandin Cooks + 2020 1st + Mark Andrews. In a .5 ppr league, where you only have to start 2 WRs and 2RB with 2flex.

Maybe not the worst trade, but it's pretty bad.

In my first ever superflex league; first rookie draft..

I traded away 1.02 for 1.07, 1.12 & 2.12.
Not bad, right?

1.02 = Carson Wentz
1.07 = Josh Doctson
1.12 = Paxton Lynch
2.12 = Keith Marshall

I still managed to be a perenniel contender but that one stung.

Must’ve misremembered it. Apparently it was Kevin Jones and no pick instead of Deuce and the pick. Still sucks to have move Turner right before he blew up, but not as bad as I thought...

In a full IDP, salary cap/contract league I drafted JuJu at 1.12 in the rookie draft. At trade deadline time, with my team in contention, I traded:

JuJu and JJ Watt
for
Crabtree, 3rd, 4th.

Championship week rolls around and JuJu goes 6-75-1. Crabtree had 3 targets and zero receptions. Luckily, I still managed to win it all, however this trade would've felt a lot better in hindsight if Crab was a big part of that. I trade a lot - you win some, you lose some, but on surface level it's not normally too bad. I still think about this trade. Often. I went on to lose Crabtree at the end of that season as a free agent.
12 Team IDP PPR Superflex Dynasty: 1-2 QB, 1-6 RB/WR/TE (7 total), PK, PN, 2DL, 3LB, 2DB.

WR - Lamb, Jeudy, Nacua, Eli Moore, Bateman, Meyers, Downs
TE - Gesicki, Njoku, Kincaid, Smith Jr
DL - Garrett, Burns, Rousseau, Phillips
LB - Q Walker, Al-Shaair, Alexander, Grugier-Hill
DB - Bates, Dugger, A Hooker, K Wallace

Worst trade I ever made: 2017, my team is a solid 5 or 6 seed in the playoffs, three weeks to go in the season. I need a spark in my flex spot and have two 2018 1sts to work with.....

I trade one away for Dez Bryant. I go on to finish 3rd, using Dez every week in my flex. Trade looks okay so far.

Well, the pick becomes 1.7. Somehow Chubb falls to 1.7.

Dez falls off a cliff.

I essentially traded five average weeks of Dez Bryant for Nick Chubb.

Needless to say, this is team 1 in my sig. I've gone full rebuild and traded off all aging assets I can (Keenan, Julio, Miller) and that trade is the one that I blame for triggering it all.

2016, my first year playing dynasty had a great team after taking over an orphan and doing a dispersal. Notables:

QB: Luck
RB: Bell, Zeke, Shady (acquired Shady for Jeremy Hill + 2017 1)
WR: Baldwin, Crabtree
TE: Kelce, Hunter Henry

Having an amazing year rolling to #1 seed, but Kelce is really inconsistent and kinda ticking me off, got kicked out of a game a nearly lost it for me. Just before the trade deadline the Delanie Walker owner puts him on the block advertising him for contenders, he's been having a really good year. So I'm fed up with Kelce, really want to secure the title that year and I really love Henry so have him slotted in as my TE of the future I just want a short term upgrade. I offer Kelce for Delanie straight up, obviously it was quickly accepted, again I'm new to dynasty so don't completely grasp the value gap plus Kelce wasn't quite at the level then that he is now. So playoffs come and I make it to the finals and it's an absolute slug fest, it's really close and I do end up winning but Walker only had like 10 points, Kelce ended up with like 25 that week and would have made it a lot less stressful. So at least it didn't cost me in the short term, but obviously was a terrible trade in hindsight plus the new Kelce owner won the league in 2017 and finished 2nd in 2018.

In 2017 I drafted Kamara at 1.09 and then after week 5 or 6 I traded him and a 2018 1st (not my own pick) for Devonta Freeman. The 2018 1st ended up being 1.01 (Barkley). So I traded Kamara and Barkley for D Freeman. I still have nightmares over that one.
