Fant and Hock are BOTH generational talent?!? Wow, I haven't heard that anywhere. If these guys had a .001% chance at being a generational talent, why are they not the slam dunk 1.01 and 1.02 rookie picks?

Re: June Rookie ADP Observations
"Generational Talent" might be a bit strong, but if anyone in this draft is considered the best in the league at their position 5 years from now it's going to be Hock and/or Fant.

Kind of misrepresenting a bit here, no? He said there is a "constant drumbeat from another segment (of people) that Gurley is a bust."

Foodie. Mild sauce goes in the trash. Well done steak goes with it.
Habaneros make the best hot sauce. Throwing a bunch of random stuff on top of fries doesn't mean you call it "poutine".

Hock could be great. I don't see it with Fant.
Re: June Rookie ADP Observations
This was a helpful exercise. I knew that some were high on him prior to the Gurley news, and I attributed that mostly to his gaudy YPC and a generally weak RB class. Setting those feelings aside it made me pause to think that Henderson was generally viewed as a top 10 prospect prior to the draft. Considering the uncertainty in that offense, 1.06 does seem more "reasonable" or maybe rather "the price to play."ArrylT wrote: ↑Mon Jun 17, 2019 6:41 am .Before NFL landings were known Hendersons ADP in Mocks was ranging from 80-90. It immediately dropped 20 spots in May, due to his landing spot (ie perceived as being blocked) but now it is at 70 and trending upward fast. Lets repeat that for a second.
His pre-draft ADP was already top 100.

He was one of only 7 2019 Rookie players whose ADP on Mizelle was constantly above 100 for the Feb-April pre-draft mock period.
That suggests there was a healthy segment of the dynasty community that was high on Henderson even before his landing spot & draft pedigree was known (3rd round for RBs is pretty solid).
I won't be investing at that level and when it's all said and done I think the biggest winners of this saga will be those who get AJ Brown at 1.07-1.08 because a player like Henderson caused him to fall.

Re: June Rookie ADP Observations
The top RB prospects from this class cycle between Josh Jacobs, Miles Sanders, and Darrell Henderson depending on who you ask (perhaps there are some Singletary/Montgomery truthers out there, but they're not as loud). The people that think Henderson's value is entirely tied to Gurley are mistaken; he's a pretty exciting prospect in his own right. He's literally the most efficient RB in NCAA history; lower competition or not-- that's impressive. Even if he plays a complementary role to Gurley this season, his floor is closer to flex than his ceiling. His ceiling is Kamara.jcc6fd wrote: ↑Mon Jun 17, 2019 9:56 amThis was a helpful exercise. Re: June Rookie ADP Observations
I'm reluctant to even talk about JJAW. I love his ADP...
Was Kittle picked there in his rookie-draft?
Kelce? Graham? Ertz? Gronk?
TEs are never picked that high because TEs in 1TE leagues just aren't sexy picks. I got Kelce in the middle of the 2nd round in his fairly weak rookie-draft class. I think Kittle went like round 4-6 in his (or even undrafted).
For the record: I disagree that Fant is a generational prospect -- he's too raw to be considered such. Hock, though...

Hock is going 1.1 in a lot of start 2 TE leagues.

Re: June Rookie ADP Observations
Hock is the best TE prospect since..... OJ Howard. Wouldn't say he's generational (unless you want to say both are generational talents-- which I might agree with) but he's a truly elite prospect in a draft with a whole lot of question marks walking into a great situation. He's probably being undervalued even in most 1 TE leagues.MrUbuto wrote: ↑Tue Jun 18, 2019 9:39 amBecause moat people play 1TR non-TE premium.

Re: June Rookie ADP Observations
Ya 2TE League Hock is a strong 1.01 rookie pick and I wouldn't bat an eye a Fant going 1.02. If it's 2TE + TE Premium they are absolutely my top 2 picks unless it's 2QB as well.
