I can't seem to find the post or I would quote it... A couple months ago someone said something along the lines of that they thought Matt LaCosse would end up being the TE1 on the Pats. I think it was even posted after ASJ had signed there.

Something about how NE had signed him on just the second day of free agency, and for a good chunk of guaranteed money, if memory serves.

Since I can't find the post I'm thinking of, here's the latest Rotoworld blurb about him:
Patriots signed TE Matt LaCosse, formerly of the Broncos, to a two-year, $2.8 million contract.

A 2015 undrafted free agent, LaCosse notched 24 of his 27 career receptions in 2018 but was not tendered a contract offer by Denver. A Gronk-ian 6-foot-6, 255 pounds, LaCosse entered the league with 4.64 speed. He could end up a Patriots lifehack type of signing.
I could see Bill Belichick using some of his magic again with LaCosse, so I've scooped him up everywhere I can over the past couple months.

Watch the Cowboys pick up this bum.

Fleener would be an interesting pick up for the Patriots. Maybe they trade for Kyle Rudolph and the Vikings pick up ASJ, lol.

4.76 per PlayerProfiler. Other than that, his workout numbers are terrible.

This appears to be related to his substance abuse issues. I’d simply cut bait.

Am I the only one who is getting the feeling the Patriots are gearing up to run the ball 700 times next season?

Oh you mean the 230 lb blocking WR they drafted? Along with the two OLinemen and yet another RB?

The Patriots are running the Wishbone next year. You heard it here first.

You might be referring to my post on April 11th:

He is obviously the more preferred option for the organization based on when they signed him and at the price they signed him. Follow the money, he got twice as much and for twice as long as ASJ.

That's it! Thank you, I couldn't find it before  And thanks for posting your thoughts in the first place - like I said before I have been slowly picking up shares of LaCosse where I was able. Odds are getting better and better that it pays off.

Maybe Bills should look into it since he was a member of the Jets and Patriots. Pick him up as a practice body, see if he has any info that they don't already have (overrated and overplayed storyline with intradivisional player movements, but have to throw it out there), and then cut him...lol.
