Cooks was pretty consistent from week-to-week last season even prior to Kupp going down, particularly if you exclude the week when he got concussed. He was somewhat boom/bust with the Pats two seasons ago, but had more consistent usage with the Rams last season.

I don't really think that Montgomery is going to step in as a rookie as a 3 down back. That seems a bit overly optimistic to me.

I also don't really think Gabbert is that much of a threat to Winston.

My list of Sell-Now players:

RB: Sony Michel - I never thought he was a special talent, Harris' arrival and his knee conditions = easy sell for me.

RB: Zeke Elliot - I know the point of dynasty football is to win championships, but I don't trust him to maintain a long career. His character concerns, weight concerns, workload concerns, and the nature of the RB position make him a clear sell to me if he's being valued near that elite tier with Barkley / Kamara / McCaffrey.

RB: Derrius Guice - I know a lot of people are high on him, but I think the risk is too much right now for his current price tag. He's recovering from a very significant knee injury and has yet to play a regular season game in the NFL. Even if he miraculously becomes a workhorse this year, I think that offense is going to be pretty bad. The better bet is that he shares the ground game with AP, and cedes significant passing game work to Chris Thompson.

WR: Keenan Allen - he's not a screaming sell candidate, but as an owner, I'm worried. That defense could be scary good and we've seen this team take the air out of the ball in the 2nd half of games when they're ahead. With Henry healthy, I worry about Allen's overall target projection. I LOVE the player, starting to not like the situation.

WR: Corey Davis - some think his value is too low to sell, but I've still seen him valued as a mid-first. Always thought he was a tad overrated coming out of college, and his production has been mediocre at best given his target share %. Now the team drafts A.J. Brown, and I don't trust Davis - cash out while you can.

Appreciate the list. I agree with most, except for Cooks, A-Rod, Cohen, and Freeman (for the reasons listed).

Cooks has had 4 straight 1K yard seasons and is 2 years younger than Woods.

A-Rod has been the QB1 overall 5xs. He’s not overrated.

Freeman is eventually on his way out, but Ito is not that guy who ousts him imo. He’s a plodder and I don’t think he was impressive last year in the action he saw.

Cohen is electric and I don’t see him being held back by Montgomery. They are pretty different types of backs and I don’t see either eating into each other’s production. Cohen is not and will not ever be a 10-15 carry/game guy, but he’s too important not to use.

So...you agree with most, but disagree with half?

A couple names I haven't seen yet, but I'd consider selling Michael Thomas or Mike Evans.

But more relevant, I sold Hilton, ertz, Arob, and Howard this off-season

My take -

Michel is a buy while everyone is scared
Cohen is also a buy while everyone believes montgomery will take his role. He's a special talent.
Also agree with above that Ito Smith is not at all the guy to take Devonta's job. If you are a win-now team there is no better buy than Freeman. I think he bounces back for one more good year.

Agree with Godwin - crazy hype and Bell - who is screaming injury or down year given his layoff and new landing spot. Others I'd look to sell might be Lockett for the right price although I like the talent, Tyreek Hill, Zach Ertz (love Goedert), Tevin Coleman - while everyone thinks he is the RB1 in San Fran ( I prefer Breida simply by the eyeball test), Corey Davis (before his value drops even more) and again for the right price I'd be interested in moving McCaffrey and Mahomes whose values cannot be any higher. An finally Geronimo Allison - just think there are so many other young GB wr's I like (Valdes-Scantling to name one) and I am not sold on Allison's talent

Yea I really don't think it's all that crazy. I think the only rookie I'd take before Godwin is Jacobs. Can also understand being bearish on Forunette and Hilton. This looks like he's trying to get Godwin before a price increase.

32 already represents a price increase, though. I've never seen Godwin that high.

At 32 in a startup you are basically buying at the upside price unless you feel he's going to vault into the top 8 or so WRs. Do you think he's going to jump ahead of Cooper, Theilen, Diggs, Keenan, AB, Cooks?
