I really like Hunter Henry and have acquired him since his injury, but a late first is the most I'd pay, and I'd have to be pretty happy with my entire starting lineup before doing so.

The chance to get a stud RB or WR in the mid and early first is easy more valuable than any TE not named Kelce or Ertz.

If I was after Henry, I'd be offering a second plus a player.

He's worth more than a late 1st, but good luck getting it.

As of today, there's no way Njoku is worth more than Hunter Henry. But there is a lot of season left to prove me wrong.

We've seen Engram turn into a complete 0 this year, maybe it's more to do with Barkley, OBJ + Shepard...in addition to Eli's horrible play + the OL.

Kittle and Howard would be worth more today.

I got him a few weeks ago for Crowder and round 2. Feel good about that one.

For dynasty I would have Kittle, OJ and Henry all about neck and neck for #3-5 in TE rankings, and Njoku at 6. I'm done with Gronk in dynasty unless I'm a contender this year and hopefully he can help me out.

I wouldn't pay more than a late 1st / early 2nd. Henry is somewhere between dynasty TE6-9 toward the back-end of that second tier about the same as Njoku and Burton. I have him firmly behind Kelce, Ertz, Kittle, Howard, and Engram.

interesting. I would wager that given a healthy season next year Henry will be the #2 scoring TE just behind Kelce.

Henry was a top 5 dynasty TE before the injury, long term I think that is still the case. I was able to get him as the 18th TE off the board in a dynasty start up this season. People freak out and under value players while the are out injured.

Modern medicine has changed the way players return from injury but it seems like the majority of people are not buying into that.

Hes a very solid TE moving forward in dynasty who has recovered very quickly. I hope they dont rush him back this year though. I picked him up for eifert and a late 2019 2nd the week before eifert busted his ankle. Having burton, hooper, herndon and Henry I hope to sell one for a 2020 pick or package to upgrade at another position.

For sure, there's even talk that he could be back at the end of the year and playoffs. It's unlikely and hopefully they don't rush him back, but the fact that's even possible is insane.

This always baffles me. Henry was a top 5 TE before he got hurt. No reason he shouldn't come back as good or better. (Let's say 4 to 7 range because of the TEs that have emerged).

A late round 1st is like getting a 50% chance at someone who will even be a starter. I know that the TE position is undervalued, but there is no way I am trading my sure thing TE for a 50% chance to get a guy I can actually use...

I own Henry and I wouldn't trade him for anything later than a top 5 pick (which I am aware I will never get). I wouldn't trade Howard for less than that either.

I drafted Hunter Henry in his 2016 rookie draft with my 1.09 pick. 12 team, 2 TE league.
And his value has only increased. He is definetly worth at least an early first. Not the 1.1. but a top 5 pick easily.

I like Henry a lot, and my post history testifies to that. But early 1st is too much for a TE that hasn't actually produced a 1k yard season yet, which in my mind is the minimum of what a TE in fantasy needs to do before I start giving him equal value to elite WR/RB prospects.

Henry is a fantastic combo-TE, but elite TEs are statistically more vulnerable to depressed situations than elite WRs, so I think that has to be factored into their speculative value. There's a plausible scenario in which Henry becomes recognized as one of the NFL's very best TEs for years, and yet still parks at 800ish yards receiving every season because he just isn't in an offense that needs to feed him more than that as a receiver. In real football terms he'd be elite, but in fantasy terms he'd basically be the production equivalent of a WR2.

I love Henry as a player but I think he lacks the big play ability of Kelce,Ertz,Kittle,Howard and Engram. Those guys are deadly with YAC where I see Henry as a possession guy and I can’t give up a 1st for that
