I don't see HH as a Luck type when it comes to the injuries and rehab causing him to quit. This guy is a gamer and most of his injuries he either played through or came back earlier than expected.

I guess you never know, injuries can derail any career but I'm not selling for less than he's worth and his market value has always been on the low side.

Playing for the Chargers is about all they have in common. Henry had as many TD in his rookie year as Green did his 4 year career. Henry's lowest yardage total for a season is also greater than Greens highest.

I think it was the inability to stay healthy he was correlating, not their production level, and that is what they had in common, outside of playing for the Chargers.

TDs are fluky. I mean Julio Jones must be a bleep WR because in 2017 he had 3 TDs while Marvin Jones had 9 & Agholor/Funchess had 8. I hope everyone sold Julio for those guys.

And great Henry's lowest yardage total is higher than Greens highest. Never said they produced the same. I did say and it is accurate neither has been able to stay on the field. And until Henry proves me wrong Green & Henry both have that in common.

Lol really no need to pick and choose points and try to make it seem like I think Julio bad bc no TD... I'm basing it on production and you're pointing to injuries. I think we are both correct here, no?

Just curious, but how many of the TE on your teams would you not trade for Henry? I'm curious where you actually value him. I bet we are close

But the production matters in such a comparison. It’s one thing to pick up injuries when you’re starting and seeing the majority of snaps every week. It’s another thing entirely when you can’t even stay healthy as a backup.

No way I'm selling high on Henry, but if you're a concerned owner I guess the best time to bail would be when he gets some free agency hype. If the Chargers do end up drafting a rookie and going the "Tyrod for half a year" route, I imagine Henry's value would go down due to the unsexy situation though.

IIRC Tyrod has been good about supporting TEs in his career, though, so I don't actually think that would be too bad.

IMO this is where the tag should be used. Player who clearly looks really good in brief stints but has some other major question mark that you’d like cleared up. For Henry it’s injuries. Good for both parties

I'm glad he's staying in LA. I think if he left, odds are good it's to a worse situation.

A rook might not be a terrible thing in hindsight. They typically like to depend on their TE as a security blanket so it could help PPR wise potentially. I think they'll roll with Tyrod until they fall out of playoff contention and then switch over to whomever they draft as his successor. I don't like that scenario for Hunter's production, but it seems likely at this point.

Charles Clay was serviceable with Tyrod and I think Henry is substantially better than Tyrod. I don’t think the quarterback matters as much as the offensive coordinator anyways and Whiz is fine.

I think it's pretty ridiculous to call HH injury prone. Hes had one pretty fluky injury, same thing as deshaun watskn

Rosters must always be 3qbs 4wrs 4rbs 2tes 2kickers 2dst and protected players don't take up a roster spot, but are only for rookie/2nd-year players that were drafted
