Expect to add Will Dissly to the 2019 IR list - seems to be a ruptured Achilles.

Could be, or there could be cartilage or meniscus damage, or he could have gotten lucky and it was only a dislocation. Won't know for sure until the MRI results.

Dr. Chao saying a few weeks is the best possible outcome (with a brace), and surgery is the probable outcome, regardless. Could be done for the year, or could have a brace and wait until after the season, but he won't be 100 percent. I'm paraphrasing, but that's what I got out of it.

With Mahomes injuries this year, it's just proving the "Madden Curse" is real. It was AB last year, Mahomes this year, and the history was long before that.

Of course it is real. The type of season it takes to get on the cover is never sustainable.

This is a good synopsis of the injury, and what it means. Now I have heard per Terez Pryor, they did not find a fracture on the X Ray, but they need to do the MRI for meniscus, ligament damage etc.

One thing of note, is the Dr. says once you dislocate a knee, you are at high risk for having it happen again.

I can confirm this, my brother dislocated his knee horsing around in the pool, and it's popped about once every 2 months since, and he's not playing any sport or doing anything vigorous.

Supposedly this is gamesmanship by the Pats to prevent him from going to a contender. They reportedly plan to waive him from IR next week after the trade deadline, which would cause him to go through waivers, and he may be able to play this season.

Packers should target him since he is basically free. Staying with the Packers, word is Davantae Adams is a game time decision which is definitely not what anyone wants to hear with it being a Sunday night game.
