Anyone reading this: Keep in mind that a players high dominator ranking doesn't equate to a successful NFL career, but most successful NFL careers are preceded by a high college dominator rating.

Edit: The other guy I have my sights set on is JJAW with a 42.7% dominator and 19.7 BoA.

Basically dominator is the share of yards and tds a player had for their offense. So for example you can have a guy put up a 1k yard receiving season and have a high dominator if he’s on a bad offense. Same guy would have a lower dominator on a high octane offense. Marquise brown had 1300 yards and 10 tds but his dominator is below average because of the offense he was in. It’s not perfect but it’s a pretty good indicator of production, better than the raw numbers in a lot of cases

Breakout age is when a player first eclipses a certain dominator rating, so yeah the younger the better it means they’re producing well at a young age

I wouldn't put too much weight on this metric. It's more of a "check the box" sort of thing than an indicator of NFL success. As you can see from the above list, most of those guys won't be playing in the NFL.

If a prospect is good they should have a decent dominator rating. If not, it's a red flag that calls for a deeper investigation. However, not every prospect with a good dominator rating is a good NFL prospect.
