Are people concerned about Sony's lack of pass-catching ability and the addition of Harris in the draft? Or can he catch, but just isn't asked to because James White exists?

I think I could acquire Michel, but his injuries, competition for snaps and lack of receptions last season makes me worry that he's a bit overpriced.

Sony for sure. They have a lot invested in him, just a much as Laurence Maroney who stunk but still found a way to hang around on the Pats roster for 4 years. Also i find it funny when people want to compare one players injury to another players injury. People heal differently, how one condition effects Jay Ajayi doesnt have anything to do with how it may effect Michel. I understand why it is used as an example but players do heal differently. Also Sonys post season may not have mattered for fantasy but it certainly did in real life and this wont be forgotten by the pats. Harris is a Burkead replacement. Burkhead is an annoying TD vulture of Sony but thats all he is and thats all i expect Harris to be.

As far as Conner is concerned its always good to be cautious of guys at the RB position that have nothing invested in them. One injury or a few games of too many fumbles and bye bye.

100% Conner for me. Best scheme and they typically employ a 1 RB approach. New England has a cluttered backfield is unpredictable... plus I have bad memories of Lawrence Maroney :) Conner may have less draft capital but he just feels like a good fit in PIT and I think PIT produces big at RB whereas NE is more week to week based on game plan.

Conner easily. Sony has a long injury issue. He reeks of 3 years of strong play then a cloud of dust.

Again, the systems are so incredibly different. Conner is head and shoulders above in my opinion. I would be comfortable as a contender with J.Conner as my #1 or #2 Rb while Sony projects more as a spot starter, 4th Rb. If I’m rebuilding, I’d lean toward Sony. I mean who here would rather roll with Sony over Conner in a must win, high stakes league? I’m shocked at the takes in this thread.

Conner doesnt have a bum knee that'll force him out of football early

I think in a rebuild or as a contender it's easily Conner. Age is the same, Conner has the higher ceiling, and higher floor for this year, IMO, and has less competition for touches. He also doesn't have a knee that has already started to affect availability, and likely shorten his career, either.

Definitely have concerns with Sony. They've already been mentioned so I won't go into it

Conners only concern is his longevity and continued bellcow usage in PIT. Is this his last year on contract? Not saying he will command Bell money, but will the Steelers pay him? Steelers went 5 wide a lot last year, don't see that happening again though without AB.

Conner is definitely who I'd want the next 1-2 years and probably who I'd take the bet on long term as well

Yes he's been used strangely by the Patriots so far, almost as a straight up replacement for Blount. TDs might prop his value up but I'm looking to get out soon.

I just want to add that some people are VERY HIGH in Michel right now. After some thought, I decided to put Michel up on the market in a 12 team league. I had 4 interested owners within the hour, each of them willing to give up top WRs and/or 2020 1sts.

He's a fantastic sell atm.

its a guessing game so use what we know to be true, conner is locked in as a 3 down back with not much behind him while Michel has other backs taking snaps as well as a 3rd round rb on his heels.

Conner easily for me. I own Michel in zero leagues, and I will not own him in any in the near future, if ever. I don't get the hype.

Conner looks like an NFL RB and is locked into a golden situation in Pitt. With the RB shelf-life in the NFL, I'll take solid talent in a prime situation over another equal talent with an injury history and a Belichick scheme any day.

I have cut back on most of my point per check down leagues aka ppr, so Sony's lack of receiving prowess does not worry me as much as it does some. I cant figure out why I am not higher on Connor, as RBS on that system are gold, but something in my gut is telling me to pump the brakes a bit.

Probably because they continue to run two RB sets.
New committee style; 2 of them on the field every time.
