QB: rookie: year 1 production is inverse to NFL draft order for top 3. Daniel Jones is top producer as Eli fades by week #5. Haskins is solid, but like Hertz, he's #2 and trying harder. Kyler flashes, but breaks his ankle early in the season.
QB: vet: Stafford is cut by the Lions after mr Matt is canned post season. 1 more: Rosen starts mid-season, improves steadily and by EOY is the obvious future in Miami.

RB: rookie: Myles Gaskin wins the phins starting job *in camp*. Relegating Drake to COP duty and the other guys wondering WTF happened.
RB: vet: Zeke doesn't play 1/2 a season before succumbing to injury. Duke Johnson takes over and puts up high-end RB2 #'s. Yeah, he forces his way outta Brownie town.

WR: rookie: Metcalf rocks Seattle like a hurricane right outta the gate (1st 3-4 games) and makes everyone wonder why they passed on him in their rookie drafts.
WR: vet: Keke puts up top-end WR2 numbers and renders Fuller expendable. Amari has 4 games > 40 fantasy points and 12 single-digit games.

TE: rookie: Hock smock. Kyle Rudolph is cut and Irv puts up TE1 #'s in 2nd half of season.
TE: vet: ASJ is a borderline TE1 when Watson proves to be an aging blocking depth piece with the occasional TD toss.

My team in sig would be very happy if that's the case!

2. Baker Mayfield is dynasty's #1 QB at the end of the season
3. Marquise Brown overcomes his poor on-paper situation and posts a top24 season
4. Damien Williams is top7 among RB's in PPG
5. Hunter Henry stays healthy and plays his way into the top tier discussion at TE
6. One of Miami's WR's posts a top18 season (my bet is on A. Wilson, followed by K. Stills)
Looking back, my original post ended up turning into more of a Bold Prediction post. In the intended spirit of this thread, here are the players I believe in (more so than the consensus):

QB - B. Mayfield (was an early believer even before the OBJ acquisition)
RB - P. Lindsay (he continues to relegate Freeman into a complimentary role)
WR - M. Brown (long-term)
TE - H. Henry

Lord_Varys wrote: Thu May 16, 2019 10:40 am Flag: Derrick Henry is a stud RB1 and a first round pick this time next year.
Why: Once they committed to give him volume, he was a freak. He won't repeat that pace, especially at the start of the year as defenses are more fresh, but they'll sprinkle more targets his way (only 18 in 2018 for goodness sake), and the volume from the start of the year will be enough to get him into the top 8-10 RBs. Furthermore, he did all that damage with a mostly bad OL and a bad scheme -- he had one of the lowest yards-before-first-contact in the league. Saffold is going to make a world of difference. And Arty Smith has alluded to using more of a power scheme, which fits Henry better than outside zone. It's taken the Titans long enough to realize how to use this freak, but they've finally figured it out, and Henry is going to dominate this year. Flag planted.

Flag: Le'Veon Bell is going to bust.
Why: He took a year off the game. His OL goes from top 5 to arguably bottom 5. Gase is a complete bleep. Whether its risk of injury or lower volume or lower efficiency, he has every red flag. I wouldn't touch him until late in the second round.

Flag: Jameis Winston will be a top 5 QB and you could draft every part of that passing offense and have a good fantasy season, a la LAR in 2018.
Why: The defense sucks still, so there'll be plenty of game script. Arians will actually allow him to throw to running backs which will decrease turnovers and increase scoring. TB QB was QB5 last year, and now he'll have all of it to himself. Arians is a QB whisperer and offensive guru.

Flag: Tyler Lockett is a fantasy WR1 this year.
Why: He was a mid WR2 on 80 targets last year. His scoring rate might regress, but his volume will increase substantially. DK Metcalf is great and all, but he is a low-volume, high-impact player. Lockett sliding into the slot will get him the dependable volume role that Baldwin has always had, and even though you can knock some volume off because they're so run heavy, it will still be enough for Lockett to finish top 12.
Just want to point out that this is the goods right here. Great post. Clear statement and supporting reasoning.
