Some more.

AP is the Redskins leading rusher.
Matt Stafford bounces back to being a 4000 yard passer.
Dalvin Cook is a RB1.
Todd Gurley is still a top 5 back.
AJ Green is a WR1.

DK Metcalf and Robby Anderson will score more fantasy points than Corey Davis.

Planting my flag: DJ is a top 3 RB this year.

Bold Prediction: Barkley isn't a top 10 RB by the end of the season.

Derrick Henry will be an RB1
Baker Mayfield finishes outside of qb10
Sammy Watkins leads the Chiefs in receiving yards
Donta Foreman is the starting RB for the Texans at season's end, and leads teams to the playoffs
Juju isn't a top 7 WR
Mahomes finishes outside of QB3
OBJ is not a Top 5 WR

Like I said last year, and several have alluded to. Apparently there are a lot of dense posters on the boards now a day that don't understand the difference in planting a flag, giving a hot take, or a bold prediction. Planting your flag refers to one specific player, whom you are higher on than the consensus. I'm glad several DLFers here somewhat get the concept:

QB: Dak
RB: AP
WR: Keke
TE: Herndon
Bonus: Mecole Hardman

I've never heard the term "planting a flag" in my life, and I don't think that makes any of us dense, it's semantics that has a different meaning depending on which FF community uses it. In fact, in searching google for "planting a flag" fantasy football, the majority of results featured authors talking about many players at the same position. (Or, more commonly, they were about a football player planting a flag on a field ala Baker Mayfield)

(http://www.espn.com/fantasy/football/ff ... harrisflag) Here is an article from 8 years ago in which the author plants flags on multiple players at the same position.

(https://subscribers.footballguys.com/ap ... gflags1_15)
"However, the ones outlined in these two “planting flags” posts are the ones I stand by with unwavering conviction. The data collected indicates something so strongly that I have no choice but to follow down the path it leads. In parts one and two, the opinions provided are of the “take it to the bank” variety." Harmon, 2015

Seems like some BOLD PREDICTIONS going on.

The OP should have been more specific if that was their intention.

Planting a flag is simply making a decisive statement or opinion. That is all, do not be an arrogant prick.

QB: Matthew Stafford - best QB value in dynasty right now, reminds me of Matt Ryan last year.
RB: Joe Mixon - will be a top 3 startup pick by next season
RB: Leonard Fournette - his stock has dropped too far after one injury plagued season. He's still an elite RB talent in the NFL.
WR: Kenny Golliday - rises into the elite tier of WRs
WR: Allen Robinson - he was on an elite trajectory before having one down year and then tearing his ACL the year after. Shouldn't have been expected to come out firing last year given that he was recovering from the ACL & learning a new offense. The risk is that I don't believe in Trubisky but still think ARob can be a great value.
TE: Hunter Henry - joins Kelce, Ertz, Kittle in the elite tier
TE: Kahale Warring - shows promise this season and breaks out in 2020

QB: Josh Allen
RB: Peyton Barber
WR: Sterling Shepard (I think he is a lock for WR2 numbers)
TE: Herndon
Bonus rookie: Dawson Knox

Flag: Derrick Henry is a stud RB1 and a first round pick this time next year.
Why: Once they committed to give him volume, he was a freak. He won't repeat that pace, especially at the start of the year as defenses are more fresh, but they'll sprinkle more targets his way (only 18 in 2018 for goodness sake), and the volume from the start of the year will be enough to get him into the top 8-10 RBs. Furthermore, he did all that damage with a mostly bad OL and a bad scheme -- he had one of the lowest yards-before-first-contact in the league. Saffold is going to make a world of difference. And Arty Smith has alluded to using more of a power scheme, which fits Henry better than outside zone. It's taken the Titans long enough to realize how to use this freak, but they've finally figured it out, and Henry is going to dominate this year. Flag planted.

Flag: Le'Veon Bell is going to bust.
Why: He took a year off the game. His OL goes from top 5 to arguably bottom 5. Gase is a complete bleep. Whether its risk of injury or lower volume or lower efficiency, he has every red flag. I wouldn't touch him until late in the second round.

Flag: Jameis Winston will be a top 5 QB and you could draft every part of that passing offense and have a good fantasy season, a la LAR in 2018.
Why: The defense sucks still, so there'll be plenty of game script. Arians will actually allow him to throw to running backs which will decrease turnovers and increase scoring. TB QB was QB5 last year, and now he'll have all of it to himself. Arians is a QB whisperer and offensive guru.

Flag: Tyler Lockett is a fantasy WR1 this year.
Why: He was a mid WR2 on 80 targets last year. His scoring rate might regress, but his volume will increase substantially. DK Metcalf is great and all, but he is a low-volume, high-impact player. Lockett sliding into the slot will get him the dependable volume role that Baldwin has always had, and even though you can knock some volume off because they're so run heavy, it will still be enough for Lockett to finish top 12.
