WR fliers- post draft

Postby Pullo Vision » Sat May 11, 2019 12:50 am

What WRs are good fliers with the NFL draft done?

Moncrief- 2nd yearJames Washington and rookie D Johnson are his only competition to starter snaps/targets in replacing Antonio Brown.
Demarcus Robinson- T Hill facing suspension/release, Watkins carries injury prone label; Robinson facing little/no competition as next man up.
ARI WR corps- Spin the wheel. Offense seems will be heavy on volume, but not funneling targets to a certain player/role.
JAX WR corps- Pick a name. If Foles really did run the offense according to how the coaches wanted it while Wentz didn't, then the WR(s) who don't ad lib and run their routes correctly and are open when the play calls them to be seem to be the best buy(s). I just don't know if any of them have the skill/experience necessary.

I’ll add a couple.

Funchess? He’s my WR 6-7 in a recent startup, that seems like a chance for a good return. Even with Campbell

For some reason I think maybe Curtis Samuel takes a step this year, starts getting used more, dunno

I’m sad for Chad Williams and sherfield after the draft.

A really deep one would be Breshad Perriman.

He sorta came on at the end of last year

And now he just has to stick middle finger up at the Justin Watson truthers and become a starter in the Bruce Arians 3WR air show.

Trey Quinn - Going to take Crowder’s spot role and Gruden is very high on him. Keenum historically targets his slot WR a ton (Sanders and Thielen), making for very high upside.

Kevin White - Total boom or bust here, but it’s White’s last chance at an NFL career. Former T10 pick is a physical freak and will get to work in the same type of offensive scheme he excelled at in college. Working with Fitz I think will benefit him a ton, Kingsbury is fairly high on him, and he won’t have overly difficult competition to start across from Fitz, or to replace him in the future.

Dontrelle Inman looked good last year. Worth a late round flier. Our league allows FAs in our rookie IDP draft.

Nabbed Scott Miller.

I usually don’t think much of coach speak but arians is a different breed and when he compares him to John brown it’s worth taking note. Stashing until i see how that shakes out.

Corey Coleman is still somehow only 24 and the Giants have absolutely nothing behind Tate and Shepard. Maybe in the same vain, Darius Slayton the Giants' 6th round pick. Speed to burn but drop issues. Maybe a guy who can get playing time and you can flip after a few big games.

C Patterson maybe worth a long shot look. Get return yards if you score that, plus may play a few snaps per game at RB. And it’s not like the WR depth chart ahead of him is the most stable or healthy group out there, could find himself with useable playing time at some point.

marqise lee is free pretty much everywhere, I prefer westbrook but there's no reason to think lee won't put up his typical high end wr3 numbers

QB: Deshaun Watson, Marcus Mariota
RB: Ezekiel Elliott, Le'Veon Bell, Kerryon Johnson, Peyton Barber, Ronald Jones, Darwin Thompson
