Wish I had bought him for pennies in the off season. Oops.

Re: Corey Davis vs the 2019 Rookie WRs
Really interesting to see how he's turned it around this year. Currently WR21 having missed 2 games... WR14 on a PPG basis. I bet TEN is really wishing they had picked up his 5th year option.
A couple comments:
- He's a bit of 'old bag' at this point and his name value has really decreased. That said, he's having a great year, and I'm excited for him.
- With all the new, young WR talent coming into the league I could see him becoming a steady borderline WR2/3 that has value for a while. Don't ever see him being an alpha 1A WR, but he could be valuable to TEN for a while if he re-signs.
- On that, him and AJB seem like the perfect pair for each other. CD over the top and AJB underneath... and a good (for once) QB throwing them the ball.
What do we think happens to him next year? I'd almost rather him stay put because the situation is actually - dare I say it - good for him compared to other places where he'd be a step back. That is... unless someone can guarantee he goes to GB... that'd be amazing.

I'm not sure why they didn't pick up the option... They could still have cut him before March and no penalties from my understanding...Shcritters wrote: ↑Tue Dec 08, 2020 9:58 am Really interesting to see how he's turned it around this year. I also agree that this situation is very good for him. Tennessee isn't as run heavy as some think, it's just that Henry gets 20 carries vs 3 guys getting 20 split carries. AJB has definitely helped the passing game open up and his skillet matches Davis well. Davis can get open and has good hands. Crazy how badly Mariota killed his value early on
Re: Corey Davis vs the 2019 Rookie WRs
I’d really want him in a higher volume offense. TEN has passed more than usual because their defense is horrid. I’ll be looking to sell him if he resigns with TEN.Jigga94 wrote: ↑Tue Dec 08, 2020 10:33 amI'm not sure why they didn't pick up the option...
