Davis is the ultimate slap-in-the-face to all of the talent-over-situation people ... in his 5th or 6th year Davis will be on a dynamic offense with a good QB and finally have a good season. Meanwhile, all of the JuJu owners be like

Davis has two 100 yard receiving games in 27 career starts. Everyone wants to blame the Qb play, but with the same QB AJ Brown just put up 100 yards in his first game while missing much of the offseason while Davis out up a zero alongside him.

Maybe talent is the problem.

On the bright side, he tied N'keal Harry in scoring this week so he has that going for him.

If AJB becomes a Top 10... Top 15 WR then great. I just don’t see it happening with Mariota.

The titans need to decide on his 5th year option in the off season right? If this season is anything less than +1000 yards we can assume he isnt picked up for the 5th year?

Going of targets, Brown got 4, Davis 3.
Did Davis get double coverage? Was the targets even catchable? Did the defenders come up big on the targets? Did the defenders ignore Brown?

FYI none of Davis' targets were catchable and yes he did seem to draw double coverage. The simple truth is that Mariota is not an NFL calibre QB.

well he's not quite at Doctson/Treadwell/White/Corey Coleman levels....so there's still a chance he could drop further.

If you believe in the talent then it sounds like a good time to buy. Just be prepared to wait until the QB situation changes, could be a yr (via the draft), could be half a season when they turn to Tannehill. Either way, I don't think we see much until there's a new QB in Tenn

Absolutely insane that people are drawing this conclusion based on a week 1 blank where he still drew 2 holding penalties and was held on two of his 3 targets.
