If AJB becomes a Top 10... Top 15 WR then great. I just don’t see it happening with Mariota.Vcize wrote: ↑Mon Sep 09, 2019 7:01 pmDavis has two 100 yard receiving games in 27 career starts. Maybe talent is the problem.
On the bright side, he tied N'keal Harry in scoring this week so he has that going for him.

Very disappointing.
He needs a new home. Wish the Bills could get him.

The titans need to decide on his 5th year option in the off season right? If this season is anything less than +1000 yards we can assume he isnt picked up for the 5th year?

Re: Corey Davis vs the 2019 Rookie WRs
They've had major WR issues for years, can't imagine they wouldnt pick up his option absent a total disaster of a season.
Re: Corey Davis vs the 2019 Rookie WRs
Yea that's what I'm getting at. Maybe if mike William's goes down and the chargers are doing good they make a move?
Honestly i still think hell9be fine as a titan.
Teams will need to really clamp down on henry and clearly cant double.cover CD anymore because of AJ. Yesterday won't be the norm. I see a lot of positives from last week actually
Even Jerry rice couldnt do it alone. He always had solid run games and and competant wr2/3s

Re: Corey Davis
FYI none of Davis' targets were catchable and yes he did seem to draw double coverage. The simple truth is that Mariota is not an NFL calibre QB.trc wrote: ↑Mon Sep 09, 2019 1:33 am I would want to see the actual game before making any judgements. Plus it is one week.
Going of targets, Brown got 4, Davis 3.
Did Davis get double coverage? Was the targets even catchable? Did the defenders come up big on the targets? Did the defenders ignore Brown?

Yeah I love how ppl go nuts for 250 and 3 TDs. One was a 75 yard screen to Henry. Other's were all Delanie. It'll be Tannehill's team by week 7/8.Hottoddies wrote: ↑Wed Sep 11, 2019 1:37 pmFYI none of Davis' targets were catchable and yes he did seem to draw double coverage. Just traded Ross for Davis. Couldn’t pass it up

I just sold my last share of Davis. It was probably a terrible trade, but RoJo actually looked like a potential difference maker on Sunday.

Re: Corey Davis vs the 2019 Rookie WRs
well he's not quite at Doctson/Treadwell/White/Corey Coleman levels....so there's still a chance he could drop further.
If you believe in the talent then it sounds like a good time to buy. Just be prepared to wait until the QB situation changes, could be a yr (via the draft), could be half a season when they turn to Tannehill. Either way, I don't think we see much until there's a new QB in Tenn

Absolutely insane that people are drawing this conclusion based on a week 1 blank where he still drew 2 holding penalties and was held on two of his 3 targets.
In a game where the Titans won by 30 and they didnt need to pass.
Calm the hell down people
Re: Corey Davis vs the 2019 Rookie WRs
Believe it or not, I just nabbed him off waivers in a 10-teamer for 18% of my faab, someone panic dropped him 2 days ago for McLaurin . . .
