Oh I was! I nearly traded up to get him too. My patience paid off with that pick. Then I nearly traded up for JJAW. Ended up trading my 3.07 for a 2020 3rd because I’m it a fan of anyone there.

I just drafted Deebo last night at 2.07. JJAW went 11th overall in that draft. For some reason Deebo seems to be slipping.

I'd say it's because he & Dante Pettis are both young and will be there for some time. Not a clear path to being the number one on a yet-to-be established offense. Since there are several WRs in that same situation, Deebo's value will vary and he'll slide around the draft.
Not all that counts can be counted. Not all that can be counted counts.

Eh I did two other rookie drafts this weekend and Deebo went 1.08 and 1.09 in those ones. Every draft will vary tremendously.

Not really surprising or crazy after seeing Mahomes and Mayfield last year. He has similar skill sets. The odds of him being a stud are as good as any first rounder given the longevity of upper tier QB's.

It is a steep price but if a team needs a QB it makes sense. I doubt if anyone with 1.1 tried to get one of those two QB's with that pick they would be successful.

it is not easy winning titles in fantasy football without an elite QB. Murray has a legit shot to be just that as one of the most athletic QB's to ever enter the league.

I totally understand that but value wise it's not a smart decision, I personally would've waited to at-least the 2nd Round to draft a QB. Speaking of Mayfield i was able to draft him at 2.04 last year. Anyways i would've just waited to the 2nd and if he's gone then I would wait until 2020 that QB class is suppose to be loaded.

I’ve done 3 rookie drafts this weekend (no SF) and kyler went:
1.07
2.01
2.01

That said, I wouldn’t have taken him even if he dropped to the 2.04.

Not saying I would take him in the first round but arguments on value or if it is smart decision or not is what is unknown. If he hits, that decision would look great downstream.

As a rule I don't draft a QB in round 1 in a single QB league but there are few looking backward I wish I would have given first round picks do have a pretty high bust factor and that obviously includes QB's.

Murray sure looks like a first round talent so drafting him goes to more philosophy on valuation; I actually fall more in line with your thinking in that regard but I also know how hard it is to win in this game without a stud QB and they are critical to get via trade or the draft.

If I could get him at 2.3 or so I would view it as a great value personally.

We are basically on the same page, i definitely would take him if he fell to me at 2.07 in my 14 team league

Is it me, or is that early for Anderson & Justice Hill? Were those picks by the Gurley & Ingram owners?

I thought both were early but Henderson (assuming thats who you meant) has been going early for all of my drafts.

Neither of those picks were as handcuffs by the way.

My 3 Rookie drafts
Henderson:
1.05
1.09
2.02

Hill:
2.10
2.05
1.12
