Everyone here is just guessing and then calling other people idiots for disagreeing with them based on their guess. Lol

Is Sanders even good enough to handle a bell cow role? Maybe. Do the coaches intend to use him as a bell cow if he is capable? Maybe?

We all know nothing and coach speak is meaningless.

My 2 cents? He is a superb talent and will definitely start start the season in a rbbc. A close to 0% chance week one he gets 25 Carries. The dude can catch great too and can do it all. I believe he can eventually earn a bell cow type role but it may not be 2019

It was the same thing in 2017 as in 2018. And 2016. Those are Pederson’s 3 years as HC. And oddly, it is the same in 2015 before Pederson. Have to go back to 2014 under Chip for Philly’s last RB1, Shady.

In Pederson’s 3 years, the best fantasy RB finishes for any RB in Philly(including Matthews, Blount, Ajayi, Adams, Sproles, Smallwood, Clement, Barner) are Sproles 164.5(.5ppr) and Matthews 138.1 in 2016. Those finishes would be good enough for RB22 and RB28 this last year.

Howard, Smallwood, Clement, and Adams still there, RBBC is clear and confirmed, as a Rookie is injured for camp. All that plus the above history of Pederson's Philly offenses makes the conclusion pretty obvious that Sanders is unlikely to break through above the mid 100s and the RB2/3 range this year or anytime before he has a change in staff/scheme/team.
A real murders row... all guys who are either marginal talents, were passed their prime, had numerous injury issues or just fit a niche role. They have operated a RBBC system as much or more out of need as they have out of design. Investing a valuable 2nd round pick into the position is a clear sign they are not satisfied with the production they've been getting from the position and wanted to improve it with a more talented player. They will give the ball to the guys that make the most plays, and they drafted Sanders for his playmaking ability. Once they get him healthy and up to speed on the offense he may not have a Zeke or Barkley level of touches, but he will have a significant role that makes him plenty valuable in fantasy.

Do you want take this to a Sanders/Howard thread and get this one back on track?

Eric Swoope starting to stand out a little from the pack (of a million) TE's on the Raiders...

Agreed with this. There is literally a thread about Sanders on page 1.

It is not like the convo here is productive.

I broke down the Miles Sanders situation and Philly RB situation a couple months back.

This^

Anyone drafting him with workhorse expectations out of the gate in 2019 was set up for disappointment.

Do you have a link for this Swoope news, as I was unable to find any recent mention of him. Thanks.

Darren Waller seems to have the lead for tight ends in Oakland.

JJAW is dominating in the red zone. Looks like that talent is going to translate from college.

When trying to determine which nuggets of info are relevant in OTAs and which are fluff, I put something like this into the fluff category. No one can determine how much of a red zone presence he will have until its real game action

Mark Andrews getting hype
Rightfully so, the dude is good. Still baffles me how they spent a 1st on Hayden Hurst.

"The team (Bears) announced Wednesday that they waived Chris Blewitt, one of the three kickers in minicamp competing for the job."

Well, I guess you could say they gave him an opportunity, and he Blewitt.

I agree. But I'm pretty sure the point of this thread is to post fluff. I hope no one is taking this thread too seriously.
