Turned down a 1st and 3rd for McLaurin and it felt good. Granted, the 1st was a 2021 and late-ish in a 16 teamer. Good chance I’ll leave McLaurin on my taxi for 2 years (max time before call up to active roster), while he’d be WR1 on about 10 of 16 teams in my league. Psychological warfare.

Yeah I do not blame you. Personally I call late 1sts in leagues larger than 12 teams pseudo-1sts. Mainly because most dynasty sites list players in blocks of 12. So you may have pick 15-16 but that correlates to a early 2nd. Add in the 2 year wait & I can. However of course a 2 year wait can make the value of that 1st change unexpectedly - so and I assume you already know, it is important to factor in the history of the owner in question when projecting futures more than a year out.

And good plan as well to maximize his value to your team - hopefully it plays out as planned.

I really hope McLaurin goes out against the Niners defense today and posts a 100 yard, 1 td game to silence the doubters.

that had little to do with the opposing defense but all credit to the weather and game plan based on the weather and also jimmy g stinking/game script being close. not proud I watched this game.

According to the box score, they threw twelve passes in the game. Oddly enough, Keenum completed 9 of them, but they still went to the ground game. Must have been a crazy game.

If you watched the game, it was a deluge with a decent amount of wind. Like watching kids go down a slip n slide lol.

Now that McLaurin has 1 50+ yd game in his last 4 and not scored a TD since week 6 are people still feeling good about paying the 1.01 or a first+ for him? Hell anyone even willing to give an early first for him still?

Nope. Early 2020 first for me, and I wouldn't think twice. I didn't even like the idea of that when he was producing. I still like him, and would pay a late first, but that's as far as I go.

Unfortunately he was probably never worth an early first despite what certain people’s echo chamber may have wanted you to believe. Kids got some speed and route running chops, but has a fat chance at ever being a WR1. Much better options to spend a 2020 first on
