I can get onboard with this thinking, I just can't draft him on the promise of potential, wasted enough picks on athletes who could be the best in the class if they put it together, but I can at least understand people shooting for it. The ghost of DGB, Perriman, and Dorsett plus many more are haunting me, I know they aren't the same calibre of player but I also wasn't asked to spend a top 7 pick on any of those 3 like I will be to get Ruggs.

If you haven't found a successful comp, I don't think it's take lock to have him lower on your board. I can't see him getting in my top 6-7, myself. I am assuming he goes top 15 due to his speed, and I am factoring that in, but unless the players I have ahead of him go substantially later than expected, I can't see him getting that high for me.

You just have to look at why those players never panned out. DGB for instance had awful intangibles and we knew that before the draft. Ruggs routes and releases need polishing, but at the same time he's not raw either. He's more than just speed.
