If you're gonna argue so hard for a player, maybe explain why, put some facts or predictions or rankings out there, you know... something quantitative besides how much you spend to get into your FFL... Don't be a pretentious tool when people ask you about said bold prediction either. Just my 2 cents
2 cents? 2 cents??!?

I dont have a pick until the 3rd round and could really care less about what i feel is an overrated draft class but man oh man was that entertaining. I will now go back to the thousands of coronavirus reports on twitter. Thanks guys.

CEH easily.

This is a passing league. Natural pass catching RB's are the future.
And where would you put him in your top ten rankings?
RBs:

1 Taylor
2 Swift
3 Dobbins
4 Akers
5 CEH

Overall:

1 Taylor
2 Swift
3 Lamb
4 Jeudy
5 Dobbins
6 Akers
7 Higgins
8 Reagor
9 Ruggs
10 Jefferson
11 Shenault
12 CEH
Good rankings. I'd agree. With the 1.08 I'd be thrilled if Akers fell to me. Guess I need to watch more CEH. I need a RB at 1.08. Not sure about the WR after Jeudy/Lamb. Need to watch more Higgins, Reagor, Ruggs. I like JJ a lot. Higgins could be my guy at #8 as well. ARGH. No way CEH falls to 22, to my 2.08.
D3:
QB—Lamar, Allen, Big Ben, Tyrod
RB—EE, Henry, Cohen, Mostert, Evans (R), Coleman, Pollard
WR—MThomas, Diggs, Lamb (R), Lazard, Hardman, Renfrow, Beasley, Claypool
TE—Doyle, Jonnu, Thomas
PK—Zuerlein
DEF—Ravens

D4:
QB—Watson, Stafford, Tyrod
RB—Conner, David & Duke Johnson, Cohen, Howard, Breida, DWilliams, Edmonds
WR—Hill, Allen, Golladay, Jeudy (R), Jeffery, Jefferson (R), Amendola, Miller, Watson, Dorsett
TE—IThomas, LThomas, DArnold, Kmet, Trautman
PK—Prater
DEF—Bears

I'd be absolutely shocked if he made it to 2.08 even in an 8 team league.

I guess in SF with IDP maybe

Yeah, I'm just saying I pick 1.08 and 2.08 and he'll never make it to my second pick. He'll probably not make it out of the first round.

If you want to know why jeudy and lamb are elite despite not having a top 5 40 yard dash, just look at their 10 yard splits...

https://www.reddit.com/r/DynastyFF/comm ... urce=share
12 Team 1 ppr .2 points per carry
Garbage
QB Gardner Minshew, Ryan Tannehill
RB CEH, Josh Jacobs, JK Dobbins, D'Andre Swift, Rashaad Penny, AJ Dillon, Jerrick McKinnon
WR Mike Evans, Odell Beckham Junior, DJ Moore, Chris Godwin, Preston Williams, Bryan Edwards, James Washington, Van Jefferson
TE TJ Hockenson, Darren Waller
+1 Flex

Shows short area explosiveness, but a lot more goes into being elite than a 10 yard split. I don't think Ruggs is on the same level as Lamb or Jeudy BTW, he's in a tier below, although he will be drafted high due to what he can do for an NFL offense, is stretching the field and holding safeties.

I don't think so either, but the tools are there. Just a matter of whether he can add the technical aspects, which he has been getting better at.

I can get onboard with this thinking, I just can't draft him on the promise of potential, wasted enough picks on athletes who could be the best in the class if they put it together, but I can at least understand people shooting for it. The ghost of DGB, Perriman, and Dorsett plus many more are haunting me, I know they aren't the same calibre of player but I also wasn't asked to spend a top 7 pick on any of those 3 like I will be to get Ruggs.

I think I'm gonna end up eating it on Ruggs, not so much on where he'll go, all along it's sounded like between 10 and 20, but more on the issues w/noone ever having his profile and being a successful selection in round 1, I think I need to let go, and accept that I should be avoiding "take lock" on his potential and let him creep into my top 6-7 instead of sitting at 9th-12th where I have him.

If you haven't found a successful comp, I don't think it's take lock to have him lower on your board. I can't see him getting in my top 6-7, myself. I am assuming he goes top 15 due to his speed, and I am factoring that in, but unless the players I have ahead of him go substantially later than expected, I can't see him getting that high for me.

You just have to look at why those players never panned out. DGB for instance had awful intangibles and we knew that before the draft. Ruggs routes and releases need polishing, but at the same time he's not raw either. He's more than just speed.
