Mac Jones is still ahead of him, and they have a big time QB coming in this year. I'm guessing he wouldn't be in the team if Tua wasn't his brother.

The draft is the cheapest way to get a QB in SF. I think Burrow needs to be your 1.01. If you can trade up to 1.06 you’ll very likely land one of swift, Taylor, dobbins, or ETN as Jeudy and/or lamb will likely go before 1.06, in addition to you taking burrow at 1.01. Burrow at 1.01 and one of those top tier RB at 1.06 is very likely to happen..and if all four go then you get your pick of Jeudy or lamb.

I've always found my super flex leagues to be pretty weird though. I've been playing in them since '16, and since then I've gone through a bunch of rookie drafts, I guess at this point, a grand total of 12 rookie drafts, and the QB's have gone in really disparate patterns.

For every league that goes according to expectation, there's another that doesn't.

In my duo league with my brother back in '18 we took Guice instead of mayfield at 1.02, and I begrudgingly agreed w/stealing Chubb at the 2.01 (10 team league) because we had the 2.05, but after Rosen had gone at 1.10, and we took Chubb, Mayfield-Darnold and Lamar Jackson all went off the board before our 2.05 and we didn't want Josh Allen). The following year Murray went 1.01, but Haskins 1.07, and Jones 2.02.

In my RSO leagues, the QB's have always seemed to drop:

I took Mayfield at 1.02 in '18, then saw Darnold fall into my lap at like 1.08, and Lamar Jackson fell into my lap at 1.11 or 1.12 I forget which.

In my other RSO league I took Rosen not realizing Mayfield was still on the board (long story, I was driving, so couldn't be thorough), and Mayfield fell all the way to like 2.08 in that league. I nabbed Josh Allen with the 3.08. I traded up for Kyler Murray the following year in that league when someone grabbed Josh Jacobs at 1.02 instead. In my other RSO league (the one w/Mayfield/Darnold/Jackson) I saw Haskins and Daniels fall all the way to my picks in the late second, so I took them back to back.

In my data force leagues, I saw Murray go 1.01, and Haskins 1.03, Jones went at 1.09.

I know Burrow will go early but I am super cuirous about when Tua will go depending upon medical reports.

I have 1.01, 1.03 and 1.04 in my team 4 league. I have to say, I have no idea what I'm doing with these picks.

Right now I'm leaning Taylor, Swift/Dobbins, Jeudy.

But I see the entire top 6 (Taylor, Swift, Jeudy, Dobbins, Lamb, Etienne) as one big tier and that makes me dislike having to make the decisions for other teams lol.

He's a projected top 10 (probably 5) pick so there's no reason for him not to declare. I thought I read somewhere his first real official checkup will be after the draft though to know if he'll have a clean bill of health so it could be a gamble to whoever drafts him. If he doesn't get cleared he still has his degree to fall back on.

The question now (landing pending) arises where do you select him in a fantasy draft. There's so much talent with RB/WR this year so could he be had in the mid-2nd round (1QB)?

In a 1 QB he absolutely shouldn't go prior to the mid 2nd based on risk alone. I'm more interested to see what happens in SF leagues, where the reward might be worth the risk in the top half of a rookie draft. He might still be the 1.02 in SF leagues to some.

Probably wasn't given a great draft grade. Maybe got a 3rd round grade and felt another year would increase his draft stock.
