More 2020 Hype: "If You Need A RB or WR, this is the draft for you."
Re: More 2020 Hype: "If You Need A RB or WR, this is the draft for you."
It's a common practice. Watson and Fournette had insurance policies, along with many others.

NCAA used to help them secure loans, but now the schools themselves are allowed to pay it themselves.

The doc dealing with Tua said he is "expected to make a full recovery" so I think we can dispense with the Tua hand-wringing / hot hot insurance talk now Lets get back to the prospects!
One RB I was hoping for more from yesterday was Kylin Hill. He wasn't on my radar until recently when some website (was it FantasyPros?) mocked him as the RB1 in this class (!) and compared him to Demarco Murray (!!!)
Anyway, I guess that's why they should stick to fantasy, because he flat our sucked against 'Bama yesterday before leaving with an injury.

So where’s Burrow’s preferred destination along the worst?
I’m hoping he either goes to Cinci or Tampa

It's Doubtful Tua will want to go to Cincy. Burrow grew up nearby Cincy, that could be good for Burrow, and the best Cincy can hope for.

Bruce Arians, Mike Evans and Chris Godwin is the best situation for a young QB to go to.alewilliam789 wrote: ↑Sun Nov 17, 2019 5:31 pm So where’s Burrow’s preferred destination along the worst?

But it doesn't matter, because the Bengals will get the #1 pick and they will probably pick Burrow at this rate.
Re: More 2020 Hype: "If You Need A RB or WR, this is the draft for you."
I would call that a major factor. If there was even a question, this would now tip it.
After all, a TRUE blood sacrifice to the gods of football ineptitude requires a WILLING sacrifice. Step right this way, Mr. Burrow... it'll only hurt for a second...
I would honestly tank my interview with Cincinatti and refuse to work out for them if I was a QB. They are poorly-run, perennial nobodies who are lucky that Washington and Cleveland exist to take the heat off.

The other question is, does Wash take Young or trade for a haul to a qb needy team? The Skins have a nice defensive line as it is, but add Young to that mix and they may only need Haskins to generate a respectable amount of offense. They like to ground and pound, so ya gotta think they go with college's best player.

Lets say that Haskins workes out.
They add Young with the 1 pick.
Maybe pay up for a Henry type RB along with Guice.
It would be interesting pretty fast. I expect they get some O-line help also in FA, with Williams out the door

If the team that ends up with the 1st pick already has a QB they want to build around I would be VERY surprised if they didn’t trade back. Lots of QB needy teams out there and they could probably get two, if not three, 1sts out of it depending on where the team is trading up from.

I’ve watched 3 game cut ups of Ceedee Lamb now and just don’t see a first round NFL talent, what am I missing?
Admittedly his film against Alabama last year looks pretty good, but I’ve seen nothing from that level this year just a lot of YAC on poor tackling, with all his production coming on deep overs or uncontested balls down the sideline that he houses. Hollywood was a superior prospect for mine.

What games did you watch? If you're not excited watching Ceedee Lamb then I don't know what to tell you
