Miles Sanders

Postby DynastyDabbler » Wed Jan 30, 2019 11:08 am

I haven't seen much talk about Miles Sanders. How does everyone feel about him. He had a pretty productive year last year, seems like he has some fresh legs. How come people aren't as high on him as others, such as Josh Jacobs, David Montgomery, Damien Harris and Holyfield. Is it lack the of opportunity he had in college? I haven't really dove into this class but I really like what little I've seen of him.

Shhhh. Haven't done rb rankings yet, but he'll be up there for me.

Three down skill set. Workhorse size.
Good athleticism, vision, & patience. Solid in pass-pro with capable receiving chops.

A guy like Sanders isn't going to be a secret to anyone by the time rookie drafts happen, might as well talk about him. Which I see you've come to terms with. LOL. He looks like a solid back, and can't blame him for only a year of production, considering who he sat behind in college.

This! That's why we're all here. I chuckle to myself when I see people think there are any secrets other than personal rankings come draft day.

 Haven't gotten that far yet tbh. Shooting from the hip, but Jacobs, Holyfield, Montgomery, Sanders and Henderson would be in my top 5 as of now.

Ive seen him all over the map. Some respected opinions really dislike him. Others love him.

I’m a big fan. He’s one of the few RBs in this class with a well rounded 3 down RB skill set, including awesome ability as a receiver.

One of the guys I'm really interested in seeing at the combine, because to the eye, he looks slow, Maybe it's the Big 10, IDK. Really interested to see his athletic profile. He doesn't seem to have that next gear, but he sets up tacklers well and is pretty shifty.

Ran a 4.58 at one of the sparq events out of hs and ran a reported 4.46 at winter workouts in 2017. As a PSU fan, I tend to agree, his 40 time will be around 4.5. I would suspect he will post very good vertical and broad jump numbers.
