I don't really think people are selling that low, though. Most Sanders owners are in a state of denial, in the leagues I'm in. Asking for firsts in a SF/TE premium etc.

I was screaming sell to people when he hit first round startup prices last off season. I never thought we'd be here so quickly, though. A first seems like a dream, at this point. Just another guy that people had high hopes for, flashes, but always left wondering why it never panned out the way you thought it would.

Well you just have to read the field. During the preseason most people were low on guys like Harris and JRob, and hopeful for Sanders and ETN/Najee. I think many people during the preseaon probably would have ranked those RBs

Chubb (low RB1)
Sanders (high RB2)
1.4 (Najee, Pitts, Chase, ETN)
Damien Harris (low RB2)
JRob (heavily faded)

So getting Sanders and 1.4 for Chubb and JRob probably appeared to be a great opportunity at that point in time - especially considering that they took ETN. Adding Baker and Reagor (2 OK players) for Damien Harris (another OK player) probably just seemed like icing on the cake for a QB needy team. The key is selling high and buying low at the same time.

Harris/JRob weren't valued anywhere nearly as high as Sanders prior to the season, especially before the ETN injury.

Sanders' ADP in July was 4.01 while JRob was an 8th rounder and Harris a 9th.
