#8 in PPR: 175 rushes 885 yds 10 TDs / 50 catches 490 yds 4 TDs
#14 in PPR: 120 rushes 535 yds 4 TDs / 53 catches 477 yds 5 TDs

I think Jacobs will get the ball 200 to 250 times, easily. He'll average 4.0 ypc, easily. And I suspect he will get 3 to 4 catches as well per game. I don't see how he will be less than #12, barring injury. This dude is set up for a low-end RB1 season.

BTW, the stats above were for Melvin Gordon and Kenyan Drake. Neither set the world on fire with their stats. Really only the top 5 RBs in 2018 had elite stats. 6 to 12 were good, but not great. Any competent RB given a full workload should score top 12.

I think there's about 15-16 RBs I would take before Jacobs. So, I'll say Top 20. It'll be interesting to see how good Jacobs is with more volume. I think he's a solid RB, but I don't exactly see a standout talent.

The bolded is a very fair assumption I think. Other than years where the lead back got hurt early like last year, Gruden has had a 200+ touch lead back in nearly every year he was OC/HC. Often 250+ and 300+ quite a few times.

Agree.

The impact of A. Brown should be heavily considered in this RB's production. He will be a 3 down back from the jump.

I was offered Fournette plus a minor 2nd round upgrade for the 1.01 (which I presume is for Jacobs) in a 16 team league. The more I think about it the less likely I am inclined to accept it so by that logic I guess I view him as at least a top 15 back (the range I view Fournette in).

I think he's guaranteed top 20, with potential to get into 12-15 range

His floor is so appealing compared to the rest of this class.

I haven't really heard much about his ceiling though. Is he even in conversation to be a top 5 back? He has the skillset and size to get usage in every situation.

This is exactly where I have him for 2019. I don't see anything special about Jacobs from a talent perspective. For me, his value is tied to his 1st round draft slot. But, the Raiders have a very questionable offense, which is another knock against Jacobs.

He seems like a decent bet for success in a redraft league. In dynasty leagues I wouldn't spend a top 10 rookie pick on him.

I voted top 15 RB as a floor this year due to situation alone. Sure i'd rather him be in KC, but hes going to get the ball plenty.

I think talent wise he could easily rise above that. He is a good talent on a team that drafted him to be a feature back. With the Crowell news, he has even less competition for touches.

Not a top 10 rookie pick? That's a stretch. Even if this was a stacked draft class he'd be a top 10 rookie pick.

Oh, he'll be a top 10 rookie pick this year. And if I had a top 10 rookie pick then it would be something that I would gladly trade down from before selecting Jacobs.

Either that, or take Jacobs and then sell high later in the season. :-D

I'd say RB2 floor with RB1 potential barring injury. Voted top-15.

Not that it matters, but Raiders re-signed Doug Martin. So, he should slot in as the backup

The Jacobs opinions kind of surprise me since they are all over the place. I voted too 15. I am a big believer in Jacobs after watching him for 3 years at Alabama. If he stays healthy, I think he has the ability to be a top 10 back for sure. I know people knock the raiders offense but they brought in a bunch of talent through free agency. I think the presence of AB will give the running game a big boost. Can’t wait to see how all of it plays out.
