Never hurts to take a shot, and good to see there are teams that still think Moncrief has to offer. He may not be fantasy reliable but at least he is still getting chances to help a team.

Moncrief had a chance to resurrect his career in Pittsburgh but he really dropped the ball. Literally dropped the ball!

How can anyone expect a 3rd round rookie to beat out Moncrief, who is a solid experienced, high skilled veteran? If he did, that would speak volumes for Diontae. The same for Nate Washington. These young WRs are not highly regarded, not to the level of Moncrief.

Evidently, Crief just doesn't have the mental fortitude -- or something along those lines -- to be a successful pro. Pittsburgh practically gave him the opportunity for career renaissance on a silver platter, and he took that platter in hand and immediately pratfell with it like a circus clown.

Mildly surprised Carolina bothered to claim him. With his size and speed combination maybe they hope he can be a good special-teams gunner or something.
