2019 NFL Draft - Discussion Thread

Postby Cult of Dionysus » Tue Apr 23, 2019 5:33 pm

48 hours to go to probably the biggest day for dynasty mangers and NFL fans. Gonna be a huge draft for so many of us.

Still need to buy beer, but otherwise ready to go.

Some of the Offensive players I have moved up my board over the offseason*:

Brett Rypien
Damarea Crockett
Noah Fant
JJ Arcega-Whiteside

Some of Offensive players I have moved down my board over the offseason*:

Kyler Murray
Marquise Brown
Elijah Holyfield
Dawson Knox

* - including today - thanks to my fellow DLF Forum members, DLF Writer articles & other sources of helpful consideration

Regardless - while I look forward to the NFL draft every year - I feel that this draft is going to be one of the most exciting & interesting drafts in a few years (from a fantasy perspective - nfl teams make it exciting every year). On Thursday morning I will share my projected DK Metcalf landing spot, which I think would be (a) ideal and (b) jinxed once I share it.

Next year is in Vegas. I might have to attend that one.

This time of year reminds me of Christmas. I can't wait to unwrap all of my presents and see what new toys I get to play with this year.

Taking a half day off and having a draft party at home for the 1st round. We do it every year. It's a lot of fun!

If the Cards take Bosa, that 1.02 selection is going to be crazy. No way the 49ers (my team) stays at 2. They are going to work a deal for sure. Raiders? Giants? Whatever.

I'm a Niner fan myself. I'm just crossing my fingers and hoping Arizona takes Murray.

Gotta love the 9ers situation right now if you're a fan. Either they grab Bosa (best player in the draft imo) or are in prime position to trade out for a plethora of picks.
