Darwin Thompson to the Chiefs!

Now that's interesting. He was on my radar as a later round flyer, but now.. yeah. How far up the rankings do you go with him?

Late 2nd/early 3rd I’d say at best. I think he is a total lottery ticket with a bottomless floor.

I’ve watched a lot of tape. He’s very small but still strong, a lot of pretty good attributes, but nothing really sticks out.

He played terribly against better opponents. Last year against Michigan St, Colorado St, and Boise St he was a COMBINED 34 carries for 137 yards, and 5 receptions for 33 yards.

The tape from those games is really bad. The tape against bottom dwellers Tenn Tech, New Mexico, SJS, and Hawaii was much better, but that is to be expected.

I know there are some success stories like Baldwin, Phillip Lindsay, and more, but anyone have a ballpark % on successful running backs that didn't get a combine invite? I've always thought that's a red flag.

Wonder if we will find any Stefon Diggs type gems then (5th round pick). Considering guys like Harmon & Butler and Hall are still on the board - perhaps one team will end up with a steal. Or it simply was not meant to be.

Yes, and his name is Terry Godwin. Top 5 route runner in this class. Former 5 Star recruit.

KC, HOU + TB all survived the Running Back carousel, now it's:

- Does Damien keep the job for 2019
- Does Foreman come back healthy and usurp Lameh Miller
- Does Rojo take a big step forward or does Barber continue to control the backfield

Definitely an interesting summer for Foreman. There is officially some light shining on him again for the first time in a long time.
