Man, this draft REALLY has blown all expectations to smithereens. I've got 1.05 and 1.10 with not a clue who I can expect to be there or who to take.

[Thiry] Les Snead and Sean McVay emphasize that they have wanted a change of pace back and that is why they selected Darrell Henderson. McVay called him a unique playmaker, and when asked, said this pick was about Henderson’s skills and not Todd Gurley’s knee.

Lmao McVay is a straight up liar. Evaluate this situation on what makes sense and is logical, not on coach speak

The same guy didn't play Gurley in the Super Bowl for "football related" reasons. You can't trust a word any coach says, especially him when it comes to Gurley.

Deebo.
Assuming it is PPR.
ya it's ppr, but even jacobs could slide...
If Jacobs is there at 1.04 you take him.
I honestly don't think the decision is that difficult.
Not even a Jacobs fan, but as the draft went on, he didn't fall down my board like I thought he would

The great cloud hanging over this draft was that top WRs would go to the Ravens and Titans. I didn't imagine it happening to three of them! Add that to the NFL telling us we're dreaming on Butler and Harmon and this has been a true bleep sandwich.
There might be an unpleasant corollary here for future WR classes too. It's starting to look like teams with accurate QBs are going to prize speed and separation above everything and our big contested catch guys are going to be taken to help bad QBs.
As someone hoping above all for good spots for Harry, the Browns, Butler and Harmon this draft took a giant dump on my draft-board. Then it wiped its bleep on my curtains when it did Henderson and Harris dirty.

After the first 2 days it's time to reevaluate my board, especially the offense side. Talent over situation still but it's time to admit that some of the perceived levels of player talent was very likely wrong.

lukkynumber13 wrote: Fri Apr 26, 2019 8:17 pm So who are we (me included) panicking on, that could quickly jump into the late 1st or early 2nd if they’re picked soonish in a nice spot?

Hakeem Butler & Kelvin Harmon are the big ones at WR. To a lesser extent, Riley Ridley, Emanuel Hall, & Terry Godwin are guys I would like to focus on as sleepers in my rookie drafts.

Some RBs that I’m watching closely (not that they’re “falling”): Rodney Anderson, Trayveon Williams, Alexander Mattion, Ozigbo, Justice Hill, Benny Snell, Mike Weber, Myles Gaskin & Karan Higdon.
Not panicking on him, but I could see a guy like Alex Barnes going to Tampa pushing him into the early second, potentially even late first with some of the other landing spots driving guys down. Or really any RB Tampa chose to take at this point.

There are still some very juicy landing spots.
Green Bay owes Rodgers a WR
Rosen needs someone to throw to.
There's a chance for the Jets to take one of the bigger bodied WRs to grow with Darnold.
The Buccaneers could take a RB in the 4th
Atlanta might upgrade on Ito Smith
The Chiefs could take a back.

This has been the draft of doom so far, but there's still a faint gleam of hope...

I think this is a draft, where due to a lack of good options, you might consider both Hockerson and Fant in the mid first. Might be over reacting but they seem like safer high end picks that Recievers not named Nkeal Harry

Chiefs have 1 pick left, and it's late in the 6th round, I'm pretty sure they are done with acquiring any fantasy relevant players in this draft.

Unfortunately, the talent left is very bare.

RB:
Justice Hill
Mike Weber
Trayveon Williams
Bryce Love (ouch)
Dexter Williams
Rodney Anderson
Benny Snell (ouch)

WR:
Riley Ridley
Hakeem Butler
Kelvin Harmon

I'm curious where Trayveon Williams and Foster Moreau (TE) goes though.

They do have 3 picks left but end of the 6th is earliest (Round 6 Pick 29, Round 6 Pick 42, Round 7 Pick 2).

But yes, unless they trade for an earlier pick, I don’t expect any fantasy relevant players from the Chiefs anymore
