I love Hock too but any concern with the connection to Stafford? Stafford has never seemed to target the tight ends at the high of a pace. I may be wrong, just kind of going off memory and assumption. I assume Hock is a superior talent to their previous tight ends, although Ebron really came on finally. I feel like Stafford is much more a sideline thrower than middle of the field.

I have some concern with Stafford (and Bevell's offense, and Patricia's ball-control mentality) for sure. I just really like Hock.

I don't think Stafford is shy between the hashmarks -- he's thrown a lot to Riddick and Tate there.

Yeah, I'm gonna go back and forth on the two of them all summer I bet. I think if I was drafting right now I would take Fant because I just see a much better opportunity for target volume and I bet he doesn't get prioritized to block nearly as much as Hock which should be even better for his fantasy production.

People freaking out because of the lack of offensive weapons taken in the 1st. Chill... we weren’t expecting tons of guys to be taken in the First.

Harry & Jacobs both went to fantastic spots, as did the TEs (especially when you consider not only landing spots, but also the draft capital spent on the TEs). Even M Brown, tho we don’t like the QB, should walk in as the WR1 on his team. That’s not a bad thing, all else considered.

If DK, H Butler, Deebo, or Harmon go to Indy or GB or AZ, lets go. Plenty of good prospects left. Plenty of draft picks to come.

We always knew the late 1st, 2nd round would be where it’s at this year. That hasn’t changed.

Amen. I went into tonight not expecting a lot of offensive talent going, we all did I hope. Biggest surprise to me was Lock falling out.

They are the dumbest team besides maybe the Giants.
If they hadn't signed Crowell, they'd have walked into the draft with a clear need. Last thing you want to do, so another team could jump you.

Dobson was drafted 30 picks later, almost a full round, and had not half the pedigree that Harry does.
Statistically speaking - there is not a dramatic difference in success rates from rounds 1 to 3 in the NFL when it comes to WRs.
With that said, the bust rate on WRs in the first round is close to 50% - and let's just say hypothetically that holds true, my money would be on Harry busting over Hollywood.

They're going to run the ball like crazy, so he'll be deadly on the play action.
Volume will probably be a major question mark with Lamar Jackson...should that hold true you're holding another boom or bust WR on a weekly basis.

In other words.. most of the WRs in the league.
There really is not many reliable week-to-week guys aside from the top tier guys.

Everybody is talking Jacobs, Harry and the QBs. How about these TEs? What do you think about the landing spots? I think I prefer Fant with Flacco over Hock with Stafford. Not sure though. Feels like Fant is more Engram and Hock is more OJ Howard if that's not too weird of a comparison. A lot of rookie mocks had these two slotted in that 1.07-1.12 range... obviously tonight will help clarify, but are we still feeling like those landing spots kept these guys around the same value?

I’m pumped because with all of the offensive players on the board, I’m going to get to see some good “fantasy” draft picks tonight, pretty excited to see it in person.

I love the Fant landing spot. It’ll be hard to pass on him in that pick 5 range for me as I think he, and Hock for that matter, completely outclass a lot of these WR’s and RB’s in their draft profiles.

Agree with some above. The people that are surprised so few skill positions went in the first must have forgotten this is one of the best defensive classes in a very long time. I don't care how good your front 7 is, you always need more guys that can pressure the QB. Today should be a good day for fantasy players to see who they want to see get drafted. Definitely some guys I am looking forward to see get drafted tonight.
