While I am not personally a fan of using tools to help analyze trades - a lot of people are, so kudos for coming up with this.

I will probably play around with it just for fun.

A LOT of work and development has gone into this one and we're confident it's the best one out there. A ton of work has been put into the algorithms, etc. We've also added some great other options within and other resources. It's only version one and is open to all right now .... so have fun.

It is one thing to say DLF is the best around, it is another to show it - and DLF keeps working hard to show it by adding things like this & their draft videos & always finding ways to improve! :)

Yup, I loved this site already and this was the one thing it was missing. Trade calculators are at the very least a fun tool.

Nicely done.

I like how you add a penalty to the side with more players or picks. Roster spaces have long been underrated in trading.

We put a ton of time into developing player and pick value algorithms. We feel like factoring in additional data from real world trades helps shape a realistic market value of picks and players not available anywhere else.

Like many of you, I've always been skeptical of trade calculators. So when we set out to build this it was incredibly important that we do so in a way that provides as much context as possible to the end user. Even if you don't totally agree with the numbers rendered by the calculations, just seeing all of the other related info in one spot is a huge help.

As Jeff said, this is just the start. We have a whole slate of enhancements we'll be working on for v 2.0, we'll continue to listen to feedback and work through any bugs we encounter. So it's only going to get better from here.

Also, the FAQ's document is now live.

And a huge shout out to the development team behind this! These dudes are all way smarter than me. (A pretty low bar, though)

The o'l 38 for 1 trade :P

j/k, seems like a good tool. I like the idea of being penalized for the more assets

Yes, we sure did. All trade calculators can 'break' at least to some degree by doing that because at the foundation of the algorithm are values so by adding enough "trash" you can theoretically eventually get to a point where the values are equal/close. :)

This is all well and good but what about that HooDoo I-Start Robot that will come to our homes on Sunday mornings and help us with those difficult Flex3 decisions? I mean you be been promising that for years.

:wtf:

But seriously, how would one use the draft pick slide? Is there some criteria or is just like a " I feel like my league overvalues picks by about 8% " kinda thing?

I know I'm in the minority, but I love trade calculators. Thanks DLF!

I've enjoyed entering all the players and picks I've sent out this off season along with what I received to see what my overall improvement is. Fun stuff.

I'd love to see a comparison of the difference in value between the two sides as a player or pick.

Any plans to be able to adjust league size? I assume this one is based on a 12 team model.
All I Der Is Win - 16 Team IDP League (Pass TD 6pts)

QB - Stafford, Stroud, Tune
RB - Swift, Hall, Penny, Bigsby, Ford
WR - Pittman, Olave, Di. Johnson, G. Wilson, J. Williams, Metchie, Robinson, M. Wilson
TE - Okonkwo, Schoonmaker
LB - Brooks, R. Smith, Phillips
DL - Crosby, Allen, Simmons
DB - D. James, Baker, Delpit
K - Just a stupid kicker
