Bot101 wrote: Fri Mar 15, 2019 3:12 pm TMZ Sports has obtained a report from the Overland Police Dept. filed on March 5 in Kansas which lists Hill as a person "involved" in a child abuse/neglect case.

There's another person named as an "involved" party, Crystal Espinal -- the mother of Hill's child.

Neither person is listed as a suspect on the police report.

There is a note on the report that the case was "closed/cleared" and "prosecution declined" on March 8.

Another police report filed on March 14 does NOT list Tyreek -- but names Espinal as an "involved person" in a battery case involving a juvenile victim.

Again, no details and Hill is NOT listed as a suspect.
Is no one actually paying attention to this? The police report says the case was closed/cleared only three days after the incident. It could be as simple as when the child went to the hospital, the doctor was required by law to report the injury to the police as it fit what may be a case of abuse and obviously the parents would be someone the police would look at as a POSSIBLE suspect. Presumably, the police interviewed the boy and then closed the case. Do I know this to be fact? No, but the only publicly known FACTS are minimal and the wild speculation in this thread is ridiculous. It would seem if the boy told police one of his parents broke his arm, he would be in the care of the authorities at this point.

Unfortunately I think people just don’t care and would rather speculate at this point. Completely agree with you though.

The speculation obviously stems from his previous track record.

Right. Just find it odd his name wasnt even on the second report at all. So its hard to connect the dots without further details.

This IS speculation, but it's possible theirs is a lot like many abusive relationships. She's scared of what he will do to her if she comes clean. He has inflicted violence upon her before. That part is documented. The absence of an idictment in domestic abuse incidents does not mean the absence if a crime. I'm not saying he did it. But it's not cut and dry.

Its tougn to say because Hill just does not get the benefit out of the doubt right now, almost guilty til proven innocent. Cases involving children can be handled in so many different ways depending on the doctor, police, etc. Involved. There is no consistency, though the guidelines are there. A lot of discretion and even judgement that goes on. Either way, it will be interesting to monitor.

Yeah if he is guilty (which I will wait and see) he is getting a minimum year band but.... I don't think it would be the end of his NFL career. Look at Adrian Peterson, I know its a slight bit of a different situation but still he straight up plead guilty and is still playing in the NFL. I mean Michael Vick was killing dogs and he still got back to the NFL. A team, probably not KC, is going to take a chance on him even if he is guilty.

So theres a belief that the first report of "abuse/neglect" had both Hill and his fiancee on the report, which indicates both of them were involved in whatever incident may or may not have happened.

The second report doesnt mention Hill at all. Which might indicate that only the fiancee was involved.

This is all very strange.

Based on his track record, it could be the old, "where there is smoke, there is fire". We shall see. He is not guilty, and may not be proven guilty, but this will definitely affect his contract situation and Dynasty value going forward.

Or...speculating here...the fiancee is trying to take the fall, knowing that if Hill is seen as involved there goes all the money. So she takes the blame/stops co-operating.

Not unheard of in relationships with a history of abuse.

Prior history, and the multiple police reports show instability within his household/personal life. There is clearly a history with these two, he and his girlfriend/wife. Giving a boatload of guaranteed money to this guy may not be the best idea. Even if he did do it, she may say he didn't in the hopes of helping his contract situation, who knows. From what I'm seeing, the investigation is about him breaking his child's arm with a punch.
